MAC x Kelly Osbourne Makeup Look

MAC x Kelly Osbourne Look
MAC x Kelly Osbourne Look

I don’t always have time to do cohesive looks (I usually have a total mish mash of products, and each side of the face is different!), but with the extra lead time I had with this collection, I put together this look using just Kelly’s products from the MAC x Osbournes Collection. The collection will be available online June 2nd and in-stores on June 12th (North America). Full reviews are still head, so stay tuned! πŸ™‚

Eyes

I used the MAC Bloody Brilliant Eyeshadow Quad for the eye makeup. I applied MAC Spoonful of Sugar Eyeshadow to the inner third of the lid with a flat, domed brush (like MAC 239. Next, I patted on MAC Tickety Boo Eyeshadow to the middle of the lid. On the outer lid, I applied MAC Fizzy Rose Eyeshadow and swept it into the outer crease and above. To add more depth to the crease, I darkened it with MAC Shadowy Lady Eyeshadow with a fluffy, tapered crease brush (Like Tom Ford #13). Burberry Trench was blended along the brow bone to highlight and soften the crease colors. For the lash line, I opted for Marc Jacobs Beauty Blacquer Highliner Gel Crayon (I’m in the process of testing), but you could use MAC Smolder (included in the collection), which is a long-time permanent shade. Β For lashes, I applied Tom Ford’s Mascara with a mascara fan brush. To fill in brows, I mixed the two shades from Kelly’s MAC Morning Mister Magpie Brow Duo.

Face

For foundation, I used Make Up For Ever #2 Lift Foundation and then set with Urban Decay Light-Medium Naked Loose Finishing Powder. I started adding color to the cheeks by using the bronzer side of MAC Jolly Good Mineralize Skinfinish Duo to lightly contour the hollows of my cheeks, and then I applied MAC Cheeky Bugger Blush to the apples of cheeks for color. To add luminosity, I used the highlighter section of MAC Jolly Good Mineralize Skinfinish Duo and dusted it lightly across the tops of the cheek bones.

Lips

I used both MAC Dodgy Girl Lipstick and MAC Kelly Yum-Yum LipstickΒ mixed together (about equal parts). In the first full-face photo, it’s just the lavender lipstick, but it’s a hard shade for me to wear against my skin tone and it’s really, really cool-toned and I don’t think it pairs that well with the cheek colors, all of which are on the warmer side. I mixed in a little of the fuchsia lipstick to make the lavender more wearable on me.

The eyes are very “ice princess” pretty! Not a big fan of the lip color but you my dear can pull of anything! πŸ™‚

Hi Tracy,

MAC gave me June 2nd as the date for online, exactly as written to me:

“Available online June 2, 2014
Available in stores June 12, 2014 through July 10, 2014”

I only post confirmed dates as given to me from MAC Cosmetics Corporate πŸ™‚ If the date has changed, I have not received any information from MAC regarding the change.

For sure, Christine! ^_^ You have brown eyes and it’s just solovely to see creamy soft lilac looks on them! Very bouquet and fresh! Made my day. πŸ™‚

The lipstick colors look great on you. I do not think these will suit my NC 50 skin-tone, I can cross these off my list. Hopefully the other lipstick shades will suit me better.

Oh wow, the eyeshadow quad is much lighter than I thought it would be. It almost looks like pastel tones.

On another note, I’ve missed these types of posts from you. Glad you were able to squeeze one in this time!

I gotta say Christine, I actually prefer the way Dodgy Girl looks on you! Great look. Now can this stuff just come out already?! πŸ˜€

Loving the eye look Christine! I wasn’t anticipating to like those three colors as much as I do! Thank you for doing a look with the quad, it really showed me how I would be able to work this into my collection. Added to the list!

You look freaking fabulous! I don’t mind the purple lippie on you at all although I can see it makes you pull a little more yellow. Great eye look. I totally love it. I’m so up for this collection.

You look lovely, although I have to agree that the very cool lip colour isn’t the best on your sunshine-y complexion. The rest of the look is soft and very appealing. You’ve been very busy, it seems, with everything that’s being posted today. Great work!

At first glance I was like “she has EYESHADOW on? Or is this a shot of a bare eye?”. Really nothing special here for me in this collection across the board. And I’m someone who loves subtle and neutral but this….bloody meh! (g)

The eye look is super pretty and glowing! You’re such a trooper for going through these lip colours, Christine! I really admire how you always give everything a fair chance and a fair, detailed review even if it’s not your thing personally. You’re so lovely! ^_^

Love what you’ve done with your eyes and face but that lip colour – good job I know how to touch type cos my retinas have been burned! Waaaay too bright!

The eye look is very, very pretty and beautifully applied, and very subtle. If I didn’t already have a number of palettes with shades so similar, after seeing the look on you, I would almost go for it! But I’m saving my money for the Aquatic Sea Me, Hear Me blush. I’m not sure who the lavender lipstick would be right for πŸ˜‰
