The formula is supposed to apply like a gloss but dry to “an ultra-matte, opaque finish” that is “never dry, shriveled, or cracked” that should “last for hours.” In my experience, the formula is hit or miss–some shades apply well and look decent after dry down while others flaked or “cracked” as soon as I moved my lips. This one was more forgiving with mostly opaque color coverage that dried down fairly evenly. The texture was matte after a few minutes, but it didn’t fully dry down for about a half hour–if I pressed my lips together, there was a slight tackiness but no color lifted off, thankfully. It was moderately drying after six hours of wear, though the color lasted closer to eight hours overall.

Very pretty! Cutesy packaging is tempting me. I found myself going nuts trying to line my lips night. Guess I’ve been in a nude rut. Yes a liner is a must for me. Anybody know of tips or any particular videos on YouTube?

Hey there Christine, I was wondering how close this shade is to Too Faced “It’s Happening”? I own that liquid lip already, but am tempted by this one as well.
