Anastasia #12 (Vol. 1) is a slightly cool-toned, very dark fuchsia with a matte finish. It is a lipstick that is permanent in this palette: Vol. 1.

#12 (Vol. 1) is a vibrant, medium-dark pinky red with cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had good color payoff, but it was--surprisingly--not opaque like the majority of the shades in the palette. It went on decently, but there was something about the texture that made it prone to emphasizing the texture of my lips a lot more than other shades in the palette. The color wore well for six hours, left a pink stain behind, but it was fairly drying over time.
