Did you return anything you purchase? Natasha Sunset Palette, tattoo stamps, Hair Skin Nail pills that looked old.
Or successfully resist temptation? I’m managing to refrain from hauling for the next 8 weeks.

I loved Origins New Skin face mask, Becca back light primer, tarte Amazonian blushes, avene hydrating mask, paulas choice sun care SPF50 sunblock this month!
May favorites: So many! This was an amazing month of cosmetic purchases. I actually tried to answer this question on the Wednesday question, and was unable to give my full list of favorites due to the nature of the questions asked. So here is my COMPLETE list of May favorites: Viseart Warm Neutral palette, Nar’s Lip Tint in Ephelide, Chikuhodo T-1 powder brush, Dior Addict Lacquer Sticks in Sulfurous and Sassy, Marc Jacobs O!Mega bronzer in Tan-Tastic (the LE version), Marc Jacobs Re(cover) Perfecting Setting Mist, Chikuhodo R-C2 blush brush, Sepphora Pro #20 brow brush, and Chanel Jardins Eclatants eyeshadow Quad.
Wasn’t impressed: IT Cosmetics CC Cream, Anastasia Lipgloss in Undressed, and UD Vice lipstick in Manic.
Returns: None
Resisted: All the recent new releases from MAC, Kat Von D Lock It foundation brush, Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able foundation, Cover FX antiaging primer, and more Dior Addict Lacquer Sticks.
Favorites: Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadows Love Line set and Peachy Keen set. Tom Ford Blush in Wicked. Benefit Cheek Parade Palette. Too Faced Bronzed & Poreless Matte Bronzer. Clinique Stay Matte Sheer Pressed Powder in Invisible Matte. Milani Bella Gel Eyeshadow in Bella Ivory. ABH Brow Wiz in Soft Brown. Colourpop Ultra Satin lipgloss in Jiffy.
Least impressed : Only thing that comes to mind is a stick of Dove deorderant. The effect wears away too quickly. And the Maui moisture shampoo /conditioner
Return: nothing but I rarely do
Resist: The MAC Fruit Juicy line. Juvia’s Place Saharan Palette
What were your favorites from the last month? Bobbi Brown Maui “bronzer” (it’s really a blush for me), IT CC Cream and Hourglass Ambient Light Powder in Ethereal
What didn’t impress you? the new Peter Thomas Roth cleanser I got (the rose stem cell one) – it’s nice but the bottle is almost TOO big and it’s just not all that impressive
Did you return anything you purchase? Nope – I never do
Or successfully resist temptation? MAC Soft Light ED Highlighter – I found that it gave a look that to me seems harsh and garish – and the 2 ED blushes I really want (because they’re permanent, I know I can take my time about getting them)
What were your favorites from the last month? The entire UD Basquiat Collection
What didn’t impress you? Buxom White Russian on the Rocks Eyeshadow Bar Palette

Or successfully resist temptation? MAC Fruity Juicy collection; Jouer Skinny Dip palette
Faves: PV sinful blush, Surratt la rosee du soir, and the Julep turmeric face stick. It’s not too yellow, and will prob do ok, even if I tan. And anything from CP, just eyes, no lips or face this month.
Didn’t impress: Tarte aquacealer.
Return: mufe concealer, ordered. Fortunately, I swatched it and could return it unopened. Might return Fiona Stiles Lenox. Prob not…the formula is good, the color is only mildly off, and I prob would use it.
Resist: Tarte color splash lipsticks. Thus far! Prob will score at least a couple. I check the swatches often enough!
What were your favourites from the last month? Naked 2 and the bareMinerals Soft and Smoky palette – perfect for autumn/winter shades
What didn’t impress you? I didn’t really like the Natasha Denoma Sunset palette – just not my shades

Or successfully resist temptation? No, I haven’t really seen anything that I love yet.
The favorites that impressed me: Chanel Ombre Premiere eye shadows & Natasha Denona’s Sunset Eye Palette. Jouer’s skinny dip highlighter.
As far as The not so much I usually don’t remember the not so much because they didn’t leave an impression.
Favorites from last month: Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue, Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Marie Antoinette and Bette, Hourglass Ambient Strobe Blush palette.
What did not impress: Essie Gel polish in Make the Cut-a pearlized nude greige. It was a difficult formula to apply and once I achieved opacity it was thick, patchy and looked terrible. The difficulties must stem from the shade itself as I have two other colors in this line that apply nicely, look great and wear well.
Returns: None, but I wish I had exchanged the bad Essie polish. I wouldn’t give that shade away it was so bad and I feel like I just threw away $11.00-$12.00. Hmmm, now that I am thinking of it I will try to find the receipt and get another shade!
I picked up Tom Ford’s “Blush Nude.” It’s much warmer on me than I expected, so I think Nude Vanille might have been the wiser choice for me. Ah well, I can make it work with a heavy eyeliner look.
What were your favorites from the last month? Pretty impressed with the tarte SPF 20 tinted moisturizer. It’s not oily but it’s dewy. I don’t like dewy looks so I powder with my trusty givenchy prism libre, and it stays all day without being oily and I was amazed! My skin is pretty clear recently so I really just need minimal coverage.
What didn’t impress you? Lashfood extension in a bottle. The primer weighed my lashes down. Nope. Sticking to the Japanese brand that keeps my lashes perky (Kate lash primer) all day
Did you return anything you purchase? Lashfood extension in a bottle. I never return stuff so this stuff is really a disappointment for me.
Or successfully resist temptation? Hourglass diffused brozer. Sephora brush set. Not buying more stuff before I move all the way to California.
What were your favorites from the last month? Colourpop $aucey palette and RCMA Translucent powder
What didn’t impress you? RCMA’s Spice Bottle from the dollar stor packaging
Did you return anything you purchase? Nope terrible packaging but the beatifully milled powder inside and price make the packaging a minor annoyance at best! RCMA is HG for me.

Or successfully resist temptation? Ha – never! Well not this week, anyway. I was only going to get MAC Oh My Banana eyshadow palette, but ended up getting Fruit a La La, Love In The Gllades, Si Si Me! lipstick and Oh My Passion PearlMatte face powder. And then I ended up buying more mascara than I probably needed at the Nordstrom Mascara Madness sale. I like stocking up though, so I’m happy with what I bought.
– Favorites from the last month? ABH eyeshadow singles China Rose and Soft Gold; EL Naked Truth lipstick.
– What didn’t impress you? Bioderma Sensibio toner and cleanser (both broke me out); Lancôme Regenerie ‘lift multiaction’ for eyes (had no effect I could see after 2 weeks of use)
– Return? no; I almost never do unless something is a very poor quality (as opposed to a color I changed my mind about) or causes allergic reaction
– Resist temptation? So far, Viseart Warm Mattes palette because I really do think I have all I need in dupes (but sooner or later I’ll cave)
