Daiquiri
Tarte Daiquiri Color Splash Hydrating Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a vibrant, medium-dark coral-red with warm undertones and a satin finish. The color payoff was fantastic–completely opaque in one layer–and applied evenly without any streaking or settling. It felt creamy going on the lips but adhered well (but didn’t feel clingy) and made my lips appear a little smoother than they were naturally. This shade wore well for almost six hours and was hydrating over time.
The formula is supposed to be “long-wearing,” “full coverage,” and hydrating. The consistency has an incredibly smooth, creamy feel to it and has enough substance and thickness to it that it adheres well to the lips and usually doesn’t pull into lip lines. I felt like the formula felt slightly more emollient initially and “dried” a bit to more of a satin-to-cream finish after a few minutes (but not a true dry down, as it wasn’t transfer-resistant!). The majority of shades were very pigmented, easy to apply, comfortable to wear with light to moderate hydration over time, and lasted between four and seven hours on me. A few of the lightest and darkest shades weren’t as pigmented or were less flattering on the lips compared to more of the medium shades. There did not seem to be any added fragrance to it (smelled slightly waxy), and I didn’t notice any taste.

Vacay
Tarte Vacay Color Splash Hydrating Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark plum with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had full coverage in a single layer, while the lipstick was smooth, creamy without being heavy or slippery, and easy to work with. The color glided across the lips without tugging on my lips and yielded even coverage. On me, the color stayed on well for five and a half hours and was hydrating over time.

Vacay is pretty! Has a muted quality, without looking boring
True!
OHHHHH!
Which one(s) did you like?
While these lipsticks all look beautiful, are comfortable to wear, and perform well…has anyone else felt they could have expanded the shade range. There seems to be a few shades with several variations.
There is always room for more shades!
Beautiful shades of lipsticks and great ratings too.
They are lovely!
Very nice lipsticks! My favourite is Escape.
Escape is a beauty!
Daiquiri looks like such a classic summertime shade! Makes me think of strawberry daiquiris! ?
Yummy!
Love all three colors. They appear very similar to me. Need a closer look.
I’m loving Vacay…also MJ’s Kate. Thanks for helping me find 2 great shades!
