MAC Peachstock Lipglass, Lipstick, Nail Lacquer
MAC Peachstock Lipstick ($14.50 for 0.10 oz.) has been such a top-seller that it has now inspired a Lipglass ($14.50 for 0.17 fl. oz.) and Nail Lacquer ($16.00 for 0.34 fl. oz.) to complement it. This shade is part of the Asia Pacific portion of the collection, so it will only be available online for North American buyers. Peachstock is described as “light peachy nude.”
The lipstick and lipgloss are very close in color, so when they are applied together, they yield a really glossy, opaque light-medium peach color. The gloss definitely looks better when applied over the lipstick, while the lipstick is more wearable by itself. The nail lacquer is similar in color, but it reads a little lighter, almost not quite as peachy.
Peachstock Lipglass is a pale peach beige with a milky finish. It has mostly opaque color coverage, but it does settle into lip lines and doesn’t spread as evenly as I’d like. MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 is a bit yellower. MAC Scottish Lilt is a little lighter. MAC Jest for Fun is pinker. MAC 2N is a little darker. MAC Ready or Not is a touch darker. MAC Illicit is pretty similar. (8.5, 9, 9, 8.5, 4, 4; B)
Peachstock Lipstick is a slightly warm-toned peach-beige with a soft, creamy finish. It has a satin finish, and it is permanent at PRO stores. The color coverage is fully opaque. OCC Trick is similar but a bit darker. MAC Delectable is a bit more orange, darker. Guerlain Guerlinade is a smidgen darker. MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 is lighter, less orange. (9, 10, 9, 8.5, 4.5, 4; A-)
Peachstock Nail Lacquer is a soft beige-peach with a hint of brown. It has a cream finish. It’s opaque in two coats, but the consistency is on the thicker side and prone to streaking. A thicker second coat helped hide the majority of the streaks shown in the first coat. China Glaze Sunset Sail is a little more orange and has shimmer. Chanel Inattendu is a bit lighter. MAC Hangin’ Loose is a smidgen lighter. Rescue Beauty Lounge Sheer Nude is more beige. (8.5, 9, 8.5, 9, 4, 4; B)
MAC Lipsticks are vanilla-scented but taste-free. Satin finishes like Peachstock typically wear four to six hours on me, with lighter shades like this one wearing closer to four hours. MAC Lipglasses are also vanilla-scented but taste-free. They are very sticky and have a thick, borderline-goopy consistency. If you prefer gel-like, cushion-y glosses that feel lightweight on, I don’t recommend MAC Lipglass. Because of the tackier texture, MAC Lipglasses do tend to wear a full four hours on me, with some of the darker shades lasting up to six hours (with mostly the color lingering at that point).
Note: I am reviewing each “set” together. After I’ve reviewed all sixteen sets, I will do round-ups for each product type (so all lipsticks together) to deliver an overall Glossover rating. This rating is more indicative of the product type, as the rating that follows this post is an average across three totally different types of products. You can also see the individual scores listed after each product, which are listed in the same order as they are in the Glossover.

I can only imagine how much work this was, and I notice you changed your blush along the way.
What impresses me most of all (by a mile) is that you actually painted your nails SIXTEEN times? Who does that?! That is so far over and above the call of duty I can’t believe it.
Thank you so much for what you do, Christine. Whatever (if any) profit you manage to make from this site can’t possibly be enough for the amount of work and makeup purchases you put into it. 🙂
Ah, yes! I did these over two days 🙂 I received my order late on Wednesday night (OF COURSE, UPS normally delivers around noon, they didn’t deliver until after six that night!) and was able to get four of the sets swatched before bed. Did the rest on Thursday in three sessions!
Thank you!
@Christine (Temptalia) You’re welcome…although I hold you directly responsible for rekindling the love of cosmetics I buried in my mortgage/babies years. 😉
I’ve ordered Spice L/S, Razzledazzler L/S & Ravishing L/G without your pics for once. The Canadian online person I spoke to (to confirm what would be in stores) told me that they’ve only received 30 of many items. Thirty?! I didn’t feel like I could wait.
I can’t believe they’d launch a limited edition line and then get that few for online exclusives.
Hope you put your feet up and enjoy a nice adult beverage when this is all done!
30? Wow! That is crazy!
I like the look of the polish, but I LOVE your eyeshadow in this look!
I agree with Phyrra, the nail polish is very pretty!
I was tempted by Peachstock when I read the description, but I’m not totally sold on it– wish I could test it! The lipstick is much better than the lipgloss, though and I like the polish.
love this look! but Ihave the lipstick and similar nail lacquer already.
and good, now I have to find where to buy Tarina Tarantino Eyeshadow in uk. 🙁
or can you recommend any dupes? thanks!

or can you recommend any dupes for the mustard yellow? thanks!
@hwendy I have to go through the gallery first for dupes, but I’m working on the review for this week 🙂
Ooo…I think that I like it. Will take a look this weekend 🙂 Thanks for the lovely pictures Christine!
I think I’m lovin’ it.
what I also love about these posts is that you are showing me how new ways to wear these old favourites. I’ve had peachstock lipstick for a long time unworn, but with this eye look, it looks so fresh!
I really was waiting on the peachstock post… but the more I look at it… the less I want it. I think I will just save my money up for some bare escentuals pressed eyeshadows instead.
I love your eye look in these posts!
I have a hard time finding nude lipglosses that showup on my rosey/redish lips. Do you think peachstock would showup?
loving the lipstick and polish…can do without the lipglass as i have some that shade, but def want the lipstick!
This is a lipstick I’ve been craving to have for a long while! Do you think it might be a more opaque version of Freckletone? if not, how’s it comparable to it?
@ClaraPNA This is lighter, not as orange.
Hello! I think Peachstock is a beautiful shade. I love nude with a hint of peach. I also love how well MAC stays. But Peachstock is sold out and there is no estimated time as to when it will be back! :'(
Are there any other MAC shades that are very similar to peach stock? I find many of the online swatches via google are very unreliable. Does anyone know from personal experience?
