The Mineralize Skinfinish formula is described as a “velvety soft” face powder with a “radiant finish” that can be used to “add highlights to the high points of the face.” The Future MAC collection features two new, limited edition shades; this one and Warm Rose — the collection debuts on March 31st online. The texture was soft, fairly smooth, and very blendable on the skin, but the silvery portion of the compact does have a more sparkly texture. I wasn’t a believer until I tried this on, but the three shades come together well. It had good color payoff and didn’t emphasize pores on my skin. It was more of a highlighter on my skin tone, but on fairer complexions, it may impart more noticeable color. The highlighter wore well for seven hours on me before breaking down.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Wauw… Soo beautiful on you! I was hoping this item of the collection would perfom well. 🙂 Will you be reviewing the other one, Warm rose?

This reminds me of soft and gentle, though s&g might be slightly pinker? Can’t quite remember off the top of my head how it swatches.

Out of this huge collection, I think this was the star, the best-looking swatch by far. I’m well stocked up on highlighters, but I’m sure others will love this, it’s shimmery but beautiful, will probably sell out

Oh I’m so happy that this reviewed well! This is one of the only products from the upcoming release I’ve been eyeing. I too thought the colors would blend really strangely but they look STUNNING. Thanks Christine!

This MSF is gorgeous on you! I know I need this one, but the date has me concerned. March 31st…hopefully VERY late in the day, like right as it gets close to April 1st. Or, hopefully, it will still be available at midnight!

Gosh this is pretty. I love how the silver tones down the warmness of the other shades in the mix. But I need this like I need a flat tire. (I’m gonna beat that analogy to death because it made me snort laugh today in the next post).

Definitely the winner of the collection.

I’m still not too sure about this one just because it runs a bit warm for me. But it sure looks lovely on you and maybe I could bust it out for summer. I’m curious to see the other one. I wish they’d made it look as pretty but as I recall, it’s just one uniform pink compact.

I found it interesting how the two look totally different… and intentional. I thought (initially) that my press sample was wonky, but the promotional imagery shows the same, normal MSF-shaped Warm Rose!

I’m already anticipating the nightmare this will be to get a hold of. I usually buy my MAC online, but this may be one I’ll be forced to pick up in person!

I havent bought anything from MAC in a long time but this one does look promising! I really like how it looks on you! gorgeous 🙂

Hi Christine! I usually love “golden” highlighter and hate pink or white…BUT the middle shade are so pretty!!! Iam so surprise to love it? so do you know some dupe only for this shade please? in advance thank you 🙂

Thank you Christine for your research so so much!
you’re so connected with you readers and so “professional” thats why Temptalia its Number One! 🙂

I didn’t think I’d like this, I thought it would be too warm, but I must confess I really like how it looks on you. It’s on my wishlist, so maybe, just maybe. I’ll se after reading the review on Warm Rose.

Love the different shades and how they combine together, it’s so pretty. I’d get this if I didn’t have so many highlighters already, lol!

This is the only thing in any of MAC’s recent collections that I’ve had my eye on, but I think I’m going to skip it because I already have the Bobbi Brown Pink Glow. Thanks for saving my wallet! 🙂

This looks beautiful on you, Christine. I imagine it will be very popular. I’m on the fence, having 2 of the dupes (Chanel & Bobbi Brown) and giving my wallet over to Tom Ford’s spring and summer collections.

Surprise — I really like it! I think the silver offsets some of the warmth, will make it more friendly on my skin tone. Maybe this will be my first Mineralize Skinfinish 🙂

It’s a nice highlighter but I tend to just collect MSF’s and not really use them much. I’ll probably skip this one, although it does look really pretty on you, Christine 🙂

OmGosh I will DEFINITELY get this!! For me there is no other highlight formula like MAC’s mineralize line, and i wanted a color like this for months now!! Thank God the wait is over!

This is good to use base eyeshadow too.
I bought it last week on impulse but I didn’t feel regret for it XD. It became one of my favorite.
Thanks for the kind review! (I couldn’t find reviews other sites so your review is lucky for me.)
