Lancome Holiday 2019 Dual-Finish Highlighter Trio Review & Swatches
Holiday 2019
Lancome Holiday 2019 Dual-Finish Highlighter Trio ($39.00 for 0.22 oz.) is a new, limited edition trio for the holiday season. It features the Dual Finish Highlighter formula with two new shades and one existing one. The powders can be used dry or wet depending on how intense of a glow you want to achieve. All three shades were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing with Sparkling Peche being the best performing of the three.

Gilded Gold
Gilded Gold is a light gold with moderate, warm undertones and a luminous finish. The finish intensified to more of a moderate sheen (not quite metallic) applied with a dampened brush. It had excellent pigmentation with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that felt a bit emollient but was still recognizable as a powder formula.
The highlighter applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges for a seamless look. It lasted nicely for eight and a half hours on me before fading a bit.

Frosted Rose
Frosted Rose is a soft, light pink with strong, warm undertones and warmer, golden pearl throughout. The texture was soft, smooth without being too densely packed into the pan, and yielded a subtle sheen that didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. The sheen intensified if applied with a dampened brush (even just running a dampened brush over it enhanced the finish).
This shade seemed ever-so-slightly powdery, but I didn’t notice that at all in the pan or on my skin when I applied it to my cheeks (just my arm). It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly and blended out well on my cheeks. The color stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me before fading visibly.

Sparkling Peche
Sparkling Peche is a light-medium, peachy gold with strong, warm undertones and a luminous finish. It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to my skin and blended out well. This shade had the strongest glow of the three applied dry, and when it was applied with a dampened brush, it had a more metallic finish that emphasized my skin’s texture slightly.
The highlighter had a smooth, lightly creamy consistency that was easy to work with. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before I noticed signs of fading.

Went on my WL! Mainly just for Sparkling Peche, but I really love the other 2 shades, too! Just a lovely highlighing palette!
Very pretty and good performers. I like all three and they are all light enough that I could use them. Peche only has one near dupe! WOW. I have the most dupes for Rose since that is in my preferred shade but I do prefer a less metallic formula so that is likely why these are appealing to me.
Love your earrings Christine. I picked the palette up already and l like it. Not my absolute favorite, but still nice.
This is probably the nicest palette that Lancome has released in quite awhile. Lovely shades, a tad too shimmery for me, but pretty nonetheless.
I wonder if any of these can be used as a subtle shimmery blush?
I don’t see why not – the only real difference between a highlighter and a blush is… intent?
Now this is a gorgeous palette, my favourite holiday release so far!
I was able to try these today in Ulta and the only one that looks good on me is the Frosted Rose–as a blush which is what I’d use it for. Looking at the dupes listed, is the SG Peach Kisses really a dupe? The SG one looks pretty peach to me vs. the pink of Frosted Rose.
Yes, it is a dupe to my eyes. Sydney Grace Peach Kisses is quite pink in its base and has a golden sheen.
Okay, thanks for confirming. I’ll probably get that SG highlighter.
