Amber is a bright, medium copper with strong, warm golden undertones and a metallic finish paired with faint sparkle. It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single stroke, which adhered well and built up to full coverage with less than half of a layer on top. Applied in short, slightly overlapping strokes, I didn't notice any sheerness. The texture was lightly emollient and glided comfortably across my lash line. It wore well for 10 hours before fading (thinning) a bit.
