Champagne is a light-medium gold with fine pearl. It was semi-sheer and buildable to medium coverage (two layers). The consistency was thin and spread well across the skin and dried down within thirty seconds and did not remain tacky on the skin. The product gave the skin a subtle glow that did not look shimmery or emphasize my skin's natural texture. I find liquids, like this one, particularly good on bare skin or over tinted moisturizers.
