ColourPop x Hello Kitty Coco Cutie Quad Review & Swatches
Coco Cutie
ColourPop Coco Cutie Pressed Powder Quad ($12.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a new, limited edition quad that includes two shimmery shades and two matte shades. The shimmers were pigmented, easy to work with, and long-wearing, while the matte shades were more powdery and benefitted from being used over a primer as they had some fallout and a tendency to sheer out, rather than build up, without some help.
Ingredients
Coco Cutie
LELimited Edition.
Lovely Luau
Lovely Luau is a light-medium teal with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was soft, finely-milled, and blendable, but it was fairly powdery and was more prone to sheering out when applied, so it was a shade that benefitted greatly from an eyeshadow primer. It had semi-opaque color payoff that stayed on well for seven and a half hours on me.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Lovely Luau
LELimited Edition. $4.50.
Shaved Ice
Shaved Ice is darker, bluish-aqua with cool undertones and warmer, greenish-gold sheen. It had rich color payoff in a single layer, which adhered well to bare skin. The texture was moderately dense but not stiff, so it picked up well with a dry brush and applied evenly. It lasted well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

Bay Breeze
LELimited Edition. $4.50.
Hang Ten
Hang Ten is a bright, medium-dark blue with strong, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had fine micro-pearl throughout, but it appeared mostly matte on the lid. The consistency was moderately powdery, more prone to sheering out and had some fallout during application. It had semi-opaque coverage that blended out decently but really needed an eyeshadow primer. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Because I have a slew of blues, teals and cool toned greens incoming, I probably won’t get this quad even though I do think it’s quite a nice composition if one wanted a very bright blue look.
The shimmer shades are actually quite lovely and no PET glitter to spoil them either. This has turned out to be quite a good quad.
These all look good in swatches, or did to my inexperienced eye, so it’s so good to hear about the actual performance and how they blend out.
I super, duper hope you swatch, or review (or both), the newest travel series palettes from BH Cosmetics. :). The Hawaiian one too! I hear so many great things about that particular formula for that palette series, and am so curious what you think of it.
I really like these blues and teals but I may have dupes from Glamlite and Juvia’s Place . Still a very cute palette .
Yay quads with no glitter! I was curious about the yellow but maybe not if it’s only $2 less than the yellow 9-pans and a little less reliable with quality.
