ColourPop Such a Rush Cheek Palette Review & Swatches
Such a Rush
ColourPop Such a Rush 4-Pan Cheek Palette ($18.00 for 0.3 oz.) is more of a medium-dark depth cheek set of shades that includes a cream-to-powder highlighter, powder bronzer, and two powder blushes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the powder shades actually applied more evenly and blended out with less difficulty than I typically experience with this formula. The highlighter was fantastic, which was what I’d expect based on performance of other shades.
In my experience, ColourPop’s powder blush formula has a really smooth, silky consistency that can be on the more powdery side (which helps ensure it is more buildable than not) sometimes emphasizes dryness on my skin. I did not find that to be as true with these particular shades, thankfully!

Fast Times
Fast Times is a medium-dark bronze with strong, warm undertones and lighter, golden shimmer that gave it a smooth, metallic sheen. It had rich color coverage when applied with a fingertip and more semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation when I used a synthetic brush. The texture was smooth, almost wet to the touch, and blendable, which helped it apply beautifully over bare skin as well as layered over foundation. It stayed on well for 10 hours before fading.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage and can be applied with fingertips (which will yield "higher coverage") or a brush (for sheerer coverage). It's a cream-based product that has a subtle, "wet" feel to it but never has the thickness of a true cream-based blush.
It goes on with the smoothness of a cream formulation but diffuses and blends (without lifting up one's base) more like a powder product. The product sets to a powder finish, so the product won't slide around during the day.
On me, the wear tends to be between eight and 10 hours. Most shades have medium, buildable pigmentation with some being semi-opaque to opaque on occasion. They are typically blendable, easy to use, and long-wearing.

Let's Go
Let’s Go is a medium brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The bronzer had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, though it could be used with a lighter hand for more buildable coverage if desired. The consistency felt smooth, finely-milled, and was lightly powdery but was not as thin as most of the brand’s powder bronzers have been. The color applied well to bare skin and blended out without difficulty. This shade wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

ColourPop's Pressed Powder Bronzer is supposed to have a "super velvety-soft" feel that yields a "natural tanned glow." There was no mention of coverage, but the brand's promotional swatches showed full coverage. The bronzers had a soft, silky texture that was slightly powdery in the pan but tended to apply with ease, blended out nicely, and sat well on the skin. The majority of the shades seemed to have a semi-matte to satin finish, which helped them glide on and appear more natural (in finish) on the skin. The wear ranged from eight to eight and a half hours on me.

Ride High
Ride High is a medium-dark brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium color payoff in a single layer, which was buildable to full coverage with two to three layers. The texture was thin, slightly drier and somewhat powdery, despite feeling smoother and more finely-milled to the touch. It applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well, which was a surprise as most shades in this formula are a little harder to diffuse unless applied over powdered skin. It lasted well for eight hours before fading visibly.

The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

Full Throttle
Full Throttle is a medium-dark, reddish-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and thinner with some powderiness. The formula has a tendency to clump a bit when applied, but using a lighter hand and a less-dense brush, I didn’t find this to be an issue during application to my cheeks (rather than my forearm, where I’m using much smaller, denser brushes).
It had medium, buildable color payoff, which was as marketed, that blended out fairly well–better than some shades in this formula for me. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

How refreshing to see a cheek palette that is formulated so well that would work beautifully on darker/richer skintones! ColourPop did a very good job with this quad.
I would get it except for the fact that I have Fenty Rose Latte, MAC Burnt Pepper and many a darker peachy gold highlighter.
Another perfect little cheek quad – CP are doing these really well.
