Fenty Beauty Rose Latte Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush ($20.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a softened, medium-darkbrown with warm, coppery tones--not quite red but not orange either--with a satin finish. There was barely-there pearl throughout to my eye that gave it a luminous finish when applied to bare skin but did not look overtly shimmery.
Applied with fingertips, it had semi-sheer to medium, buildable coverage, while application with a moderately-dense, angled brush yielded semi-sheer, buildable coverage. To get truly sheer, buildable coverage (as marketed), I'd recommend a stippling brush. The formula can appear more pigmented initially, but it sheers out as it spreads and blends out on skin and has to be layered for fuller coverage, which was how it was intended to be used.
It had a creamy, moderately emollient consistency that was like a thin, gel-cream that spread easily over bare skin or over foundation as it did not lift my base up. It blended out with ease and dried down to a non-sticky finish, but it retained some of that skin-like finish. This shade lasted beautifully for eight and a half hours before showing signs of fading.
