ColourPop Cabana Club Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
Cabana Club
ColourPop Cabana Club 12-Pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($18.00 for 0.36 oz.) is a new, limited edition 12-pan palette that featured a mix of warmer neutrals and multiple pops of color. It definitely gave me beach/tropical vibes! I believe this will eventually launch at ColourPop, too. The quality was consistent with ColourPop’s eyeshadows generally–some powderiness with the mattes, a few shimmers apply better with a fingertip, but they were pretty easy to work with and lasted around eight hours.

Cabana Club
LELimited Edition. $22.00.
High Season
High Season is a light gold with warmer undertones and a sparkling, metallic sheen. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation that applied with better coverage when applied with a fingertip. The texture was moderately emollient, smooth, and blendable. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Bikini
LELimited Edition. $4.50.
Cool Off
Cool Off is a medium, bluish-aqua with subtle, cool undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The texture was moderately emollient, so while it looked more sparkly and almost chunky in the swatch, it had only light fallout. I would recommend applying this shade with a fingertip to get the smoothest and most even application, though. It wore decently for eight hours with light fallout over time.

Bahama Mama
Bahama Mama is a light orange with warmer, more golden undertones and a sparkling finish. I’d recommend applying this with a fingertip or a dampened brush, as it had some fallout when initially applied and blended out using a dry brush due to the higher sparkle content. The eyeshadow had opaque pigmentation paired with a lightly emollient consistency that helped the product lasted well for eight hours with light fallout over time.

Cha Cha Cha
LELimited Edition. $4.50.
Pool Party
Pool Party is a deep blue with cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had nearly opaque color payoff that was buildable to full coverage with less than half of a layer on top. The texture was soft, blendable, and finely-milled without being prone to fallout. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

Yeah, I’m most definitely feeling the summer, beachy vibes from this, too. And i do like it! ColourPop is like the Mafia: every time I try to get out, they reel me back in!
Same. I want so much to resist this palette but it is too, too cute. If it is in stock next time they have a site wide sale, my wallet is doomed. I said I would not get any more palettes with more than one gold shade b/c they are just so redundant in my collection but I am trying to argue to myself the golds are different enough because one looks like a warm gold and the other looks more like a platinum–reflects silver type of color.
It’s nice to see CP do something besides neutrals and monochromes.
I tell you some of CP’s colourful palettes look very similar to each other – and I have trouble keeping up with them. This is another good, solid effort from CP – a few hits and misses, but mostly OK.
Yeah, still convinced this palette is full of repromotes from what was on ultas site before they updated it
