Best & Worst of ColourPop x Hocus Pocus Collection
ColourPop x Hocus Pocus Collection debuts today at 10AM PT! I normally post the recaps on Saturdays, but timed with the actual launch seems even better 🙂 I’m glad to see that Lux Lipsticks haven’t been totally discontinued, which was the highlight of the launch for me from a quality standpoint.
The eyeshadow palette was workable but under-performing compared to many past ColourPop palettes; the quality was inconsistent, and there were some application issues along with a fair amount of fallout. The eyeliners could have been more pigmented, better wearing, and better-applying.
I’m not certain if my affiliate code will apply to the launch, but you could certainly use TEMPTALIA to try and save 10% off (it does give me commission). Testing it ahead of the launch, it did work on Disney x Mulan. UPDATE: Per ColourPop, Shopify couldn’t support the amount of traffic, and they are fixing it for a launch of 10/1 at 10AM PT.

I was so excited for this & really wanted something from this just for the packaging, but I don’t need another eye shadow palette or red lip kit. If they had a nude or pink, I would totally have bought it.
Been rescheduled for tomorrow at the same time. They kind of screwed the launch then said it was because we flooded the site. Of course we did! Regardless of the iffy quality or so it seems, so many fans are going to want this as a collector’s item.
The lipstick Winnie is the only product I like from this collection – the eyeshadows were seriously disappointing apart from Yabbos and Goodbye Cruel World.
