Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? Natasha Denona Mini Bronze & Glow palette (I’m trying so hard to pan it, but it is holding strong!) Nabla Cosmetics Skin Glazing Blush in Independence, Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter in Kitten.
Favorite lip products this month? L’oreal Age Perfect Luminous Hydrating Lipstick in Bright Mocha, Milk Makeup Lip Color in Hype, Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipsticks (whatever red tone that went with my look).
Favorite eye products this month? Natasha Denona Metropolis, Dominique Cosmetics Rustic Glam, and my special single eyeshadows (from Devinah Cosmetics, Menagerie Cosmetics, Fyrinnae Cosmetics and Looxi Beauty).
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair).
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? My tube of MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof foundation in NC41, liquid matte lipsticks, and KVD Tattoo Eyeliner in Trooper. Oh, and of course my brow products, too!
Favorite lip products this month? Sephora Cream Lip Stains in Blaze Of Glory and Vintage Rosewood, Ciate Pin-up, and MAC Selena Siempre Retro Matte Lipstick.
Favorite eye products this month? PML Divine Rose II Mothership Palette, Viseart Amethyst Theory palette, ND Sunrise Palette and ALL the olive/lime/gold combos I could put together! Plus, I now love that felt tip KVD Tattoo liner, too. Very easy to get a crisp, tight wing with it. Only bought it because my pot of MAC Blacktrack Fluidline is getting wonky and so are all my eyeliner brushes.
Ooooooh, I will have to dig Ciate Pin-up out of my stash, I remember that being really lovely. I like the Sephora stains too 🙂
Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium with warm yellow undertone, dark brown hair and eyes
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? The combo that definetily perfected by base makeup: MAC Studio Fix foundation, Prolongwear concealer and Blotting Powder.
Favorite lip products this month? Still just my Paula’s Choice lipscreen that I don’t want to finish since it has been discontinued
Favorite eye products this month? So boring, but just MAC Harmony (which is actually as blush) thrown in the crease.
Your skin tone/colouring: Light medium, yellow undertones. Dark brown hair & eyes.
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? Ofra Chick Lit blush & highlighter duo, Doll Beauty Hall of Fame palette and ChiChi Hide All Sins concealer (I’ve been super spotty lately :-P)
Favourite lip products this month? Dior Stellar Halo Shine in Daring Star, Makeup Revolution Dream Kiss Overnight Lip Mask in Pineapple Crush and Colourpop Ultra Matte in Flurries.
Favourite eye products this month? Maybelline Full & Soft waterproof mascara (still!), Linda Hallberg Flash Crayons in Whipple and Levy Flash and Morphe eyeshadow base.
Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 20
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? MAC quad of Vex, Coquette, Onega and Shroom; Dior Cool Neutrals and Natasha Denona Mini Retro
Favorite lip products this month? Tony Moly Apple Lip Balm
Favorite eye products this month? Besides the above eyeshadows mentioned…Lancôme Monseuir Big mascara and Milani eyeshadow primer. Oh and MAC foiled shadow in San Tropez!!
Erica, I have those 4 MAC shadows and haven’t used any of them in a very long time. You’ve inspired me to get them out and start using them in the next few days! It’s always so nice to read what others are doing to get me out of a rut or just using other products that I have and haven’t thought to use.
It’s my boring neutral palette but I love it and just works in these times when you want a very simple look?
“Boring neutral” are my watchwords! The last 2 palettes I bought (which were pretty pricey) are the 2 from Dior and they’re neutral. I have palettes with colourful shadows in them; I see Christine’s very creative colourful eye looks but while it all looks very nice, the most “colourful” I ever get or feel comfortable with is using a teal or bright blue just a bit (outer corner or maybe in the crease) or a colourful liner under my lower lashes. I’m just not comfortable wearing colourful eye looks.
I say “boring neutral “ but It’s still very pretty. It’s just with a pandemic I cannot muster the energy for complicated looks so an easy, wearable neutral palette is the way to go. I like to wear what I call colorful neutrals…burgundy, olive, mustard but in general I find colorful palettes hard to pull off with my coloring. I think if you have darker hair, eyes, complexion…color can be so complimentary. With my midtone hair and fair complexion, it always looks so jarring especially if I do more than a little here or there but that’s me!
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? Nars Alhambra, Dior Jungle and New Look
Favorite lip products this month? as almost every month, MAC (1) Craving, (2) Full Fuchsia, (2) Pleasant Patent Polish
Favorite eye products this month? The same eyeshadows I already mentioned, along with Smashbox Hang or ND Harlow as a crease colour.
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? Benefit Hoola, the Colourpop Pressed Powder Blush in “Good Luck Charm”, and my two Colourpop Super Shock Highlighters
Favorite lip products this month? I’ve been digging my Colourpop Lux Lipsticks, both old and new
Favorite eye products this month? There hasn’t been a particular eye product that’s stuck out to me this month. Maybe that’s because I’ve been keeping my eye looks pretty simple this month
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? My favourite foundation of L’Oreal’s True Match foundation in Porcelain Rose, Clinique’s Melon Pop cheek blush and Lancome’s Jade Fever.
Favorite lip products this month? Laura Geller’s Battery Park Bronze lipstick and Clarin’s Ginger lipstick.
Favorite eye products this month? I have been using a lot of my eyeshadow palettes this month, but I have been using a lot of Naked 1 and Chanel’s Tisse D’ Automne the most.
Naked1 and Tisse d’Automne are 2 favourites (though I haven’t used the latter in a while). I despair of what I’ll do when I actually finish Naked1. Who ever would have thought that UD would discontinue it??? I still think that was a dumb move.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
I wore little makeup this month, with heat/sweating, pollen allergies, and wildfire smoke allergies making eye makeup a no-go, and masks making lip color unnecessary.
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? Pataday Allergy Eye Drops, lip balms in general, and ColourPop Lux Lip Oil in Reign Check
Favorite lip products this month? Wildfire smoke allergies and masks were giving me slightly dry lips: Fenty Gloss Bombs, Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker, ColourPop Lux Lip Oil in Reign Check, and a mix of e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator in Brown sugar and AOA Lip Scrub in Honey.
Favorite eye products this month? My most used were Pataday Allergy Eye Drops, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Huda Beauty The New Nude Palette. My favorites can be taken with a grain of salt, as I’ve only been able to swatch them: Lethal Cosmetics SIDE FX Gel Liners, Musee Beauty Impressionism Palette, and Natasha Denona Glam Palette.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair to light (in summer more light, in winter more fair, both warm and cool undertones)
Three products you couldn’t put down this month? Becca foundation, Colour Pop super shock blushes, Japonesque eyelash curler
Favorite lip products this month? MAC matte lipsticks, Trippy Lips balm in Blueberry Kush
Favorite eye products this month? Rotating old MAC palettes into the rotation plus some build your own palettes with shadows from CP, MAC, and UD depotted into my old MAC palettes
