Thackery Binx is a medium, reddish-plum with subtle, warm undertones and a frosted finish. The consistency felt drier, more loosely-pressed, but it lacked the emollient slip I've come to expect from the brand's shimmers. It did not improve with fingertip application--it had to be applied with a dampened brush, which helped to bind the powder together so that it would adhere evenly and smoothly to the lid.
Applied dry, it was patchy and had a fair amount of fallout. It had good pigmentation but instantly sheered out to more medium coverage due to the texture. It wore decently for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably.
