Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name. Very fair with neutral to cool undertones, grey hair and dark brown eyes.

Look you loved this week?: I have actually put makeup on one day this week although I didn’t leave the house! I received my first Sephora order and then also used some products that I hadn’t used in awhile. I had watched a makeup video from Ali Andreea which is titled Easy and Fresh Spring Makeup Look. I actually had the one e/s that she used and that was the Laura Mercier Caviar Chrome Liquid e/s in the shade Opalescent. I used the Tatcha Liquid Primer. For my base I used Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue foundation in the shade N10, It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores powder, Laura Mercier blush in the shade Strawberry which I applied over my new Fenty blush, Strawberry Drip. For my concealer I used the Estee Lauder Colour Correcting concealer. I didn’t bronze of contour. I only used one eye shadow which is the Laura Mercier listed above. For my brows I used the MAC Shape and Shade brow Tint in the shade Fling. I used Marc Jacobs Highline in black for the waterline and to tightline. I finished with MAC Fixed Plus and Guerlain Meteorites in 02 Claire. Finally, for lips I used MAC lip liner in the shade Talking Points and Lisa Eldridge Lipstick in Pink Skyscraper. Overall, I really loved the look. Very light makeup.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Everything felt new since I hadn’t put on a full face of makeup for over a month. I think the biggest product discovery is the Estee Lauder foundation. I had been wanting it for forever but wanted to wait to swatch in person since I have trouble shade matching. I finally just decided to try it and while the shade is too light for me, shocker!, I think the next available shade would have been too dark. I really like the formula but will have to play with it for awhile to make sure it meets my needs.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: This is more something I won’t be using next week, LOL! Okay, so I went off the reservation with my Sephora order and didn’t check Temptalia about the Huda Pastel Obsession e/s palette I bought. I just really loved the shades and thought that in general, Huda makes shadows that are workable. So, when I got the palette and couldn’t even get some of the shadows to swatch on my arm I knew I had made a mistake. Went back and looked at the review and saw it got an F rating. So, it is going back. Once again, lesson learned.

Skin tone/coloring: Light, neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair

Look you loved this week: EYES—I started with Urban Decay Fireball on the inner-to-middle of my lid blended into MAC Cranberry on the outer third of my lid. Urban Decay Riff in crease. Then, from ColourPop’s Going Coconuts palette, I used Nutty in the outer V. Plus, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner in Alkaline smudged on lower lash line, Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara, and Benefit Precisely My Brow. FACE—Estée Lauder Double Wear in Desert Beige, Lancome Effacernes Concealer in Light Buff, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, Hourglass Mood Exposure Blush. LIPS—Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick.

Any new or old favorites discovered: An old favorite, Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick, has come back into my life. I haven’t been wearing any lip products, even balm, for the past couple months and I’ve gotten used to bare lips. My recent attempts of wearing lipstick resulted in wiping it off in 15 minutes because it has become uncomfortable for the first time in my life. So in an effort to get myself used to wearing lip products again, I chose Clinique Black Honey because worn lightly it feels like a light lip balm and adds just a bit of color. It’s like training wheels for lipstick.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week? Lip products. Just around the house, because I can’t wear lipstick under a mask. They’re all just sitting there gathering dust, so I might as well use them.

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Look you loved this week?: I used my ABH Sultry palette with Cedar on the lid, Teak on the lower lid and Ember in the crease for a soft neutral look. I paired it with Art Deco’s Indian Summer lipstick.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Now that I have finished my ‘palette of the day’ and used every single one of my eyeshadows for the past month and a half, I used my Maybelline Burgundy Bar yesterday and those champagne and neutral cool shades are just heavenly.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I am going to try using a variety of my lipsticks.

Your skin tone/coloring: Above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Look you loved this week?: I recently got the Ofra Glitch palette, the original, and used the blue all over my lid. I don’t have a blue quite like that in my collection. I loved how it turned out! Any new or old favorites discovered?: not really, but I have enjoyed the purchases I’ve made this month.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week? My new Limecrime Venus XL2 palette. I purchased this palette previously and ended up returning it, but my tastes and techniques have changed a lot, so I’m excited to try it again.

Great use of the blue in your look. That slated, grayed blue was popular BITD, ?90s? I LOVE that shade. It has enough gray that it doesn’t compete with blue eyes, like so many do.
