Sephora I Want It All, Girl Gang, Get Ready Rouge Lacquers Reviews & Swatches
I Want It All (35)
Sephora I Want It All (35) Rouge Lacquer ($13.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark red with moderate, cool undertones and a luminous sheen. It seemed to have barely-there, very fine pearl throughout that gave it an additional luminosity. The texture was creamy, smooth, and lightweight with moderate slip, and while I didn’t experience feathering/bleeding, those more prone to either may want to pair with a liner as it was a more emollient formula.
The pigmentation was nearly opaque, and the color applied evenly across my lips without emphasizing my lip lines or catching on lip texture. It wore well for five hours and felt hydrating while worn.

Formula Overview
$13.00/0.1 oz. - $130.00 Per Ounce
The lipstick is supposed to have a "silky smooth melting formula" that yields "intense long-lasting color and high-shine" with "instant hydration." Most shades were creamy without being so slippery that they felt that way or went on unevenly. They do melt quickly, though, so if they are left in a warmer area (with all my photography lights running) and applied, they feel substantially creamier than at room temperature (about 72 degrees).
The texture was smooth, creamy, and comfortable to apply and to wear with most of the shades applying well, though lighter and very deep shades tended to have application problems. The lighter shades tended to separate and sit in my lip lines, while deeper shades were less pigmented and more prone to patchiness (but didn't pull into my lip lines as noticeably as the lighter shades did). The majority of the shades had semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation with a few coming in at more medium to semi-opaque coverage.
As there are 30 shades in the range, wear time definitely varied from three to six hours, depending on depth and pigment level with deeper, redder shades lasting longer than pale beiges and peaches. The formula has been moderately hydrating without feathering on me so far, but I'm not particularly prone to that but would worry about it for those who find it a more frequent occurrence with some of the deeper shades in the lineup.
They had a scent that Sephora lists as having these notes: "vanilla, peony, and intrepid patchouli," and I'd describe the scent as a subtle, sweet, vanilla-floral hybrid mix (nothing specific to my nose) and on most shades, I didn't notice a taste but some shades gave me a bit of one (enough that I was like, "hmm").

Girl Gang (36)
Sephora Girl Gang (36) Rouge Lacquer ($13.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a slightly muted, medium-dark copper with moderate, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that adhered well to my lips without emphasizing lip texture or settling into my lip lines noticeably.
The consistency felt creamy with moderate slip, which made it comfortable to apply and to wear, but it didn’t slide around so much that I had issues with feathering or bleeding. It lasted nicely for four and a half hours and felt moisturizing over time.

Get Ready (37)
Sephora Get Ready (37) Rouge Lacquer ($13.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark plum with moderate, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without tugging.
The texture was lightweight, creamy with moderate slip, though it looked glossier than it felt. I was impressed by how well it sat on my lips given how creamy it was. The color stayed on well for four and a half hours and felt hydrating over time.

All of these are gorgeous. Girl Gang looks like a cheaper version of Shiseido Sleeping Dragon and I love the richness of Get Ready which would work with a lot of my usual colour choices. I think once this pandemic is over, I’m going to be wearing lipstick a whole heck of a lot more often than I have.
Wednesday, that’s an interesting answer. Just being able to show the bottom half of my face in public again after months without foundation, lipstick, or blush…I wonder if I’ll be comfortable wearing bright and dark shades after the pandemic.
I’m going to go BRIGHT… if it is still summer ?.. to celebrate the return of the lower half of my face ?
I know what you mean though. I might find it overwhelming.
HA!!! You should see the inside of my masks – CC cream and lipstick stains (they come out in the wash). I just so often forget that I’ll be wearing a mask when I get ready in the mornings. But it’s such a small issue.
Lol, Mariella! What does your face look like after you take the mask off?
It’s actually not too bad but it’s alarming just how much CC cream or tinted moisturizer rubs off. That sort of explains all the foundation stains I’ve seen over the years when trying on clothes – women who use foundation on their necks and then it rubs off on the blouses or tops they try on.
Get Ready and Girl Gang are right up my alley! And at just $13 a pop, very easy to justify to myself, LOL!
As for I Want It All, it is a splendid shade of rich red. Unfortunately, I think I have far too many red lipsticks to justify getting even one more right now….. maybe?
Actually, i want them all! Reference intended. Restraint will prevail….duped.
Get Ready is a very interesting shade, and I don’t have any dupes. This might be tempting when the pandemic is over.
I have 2 of these from the original release and love them – they are SO good and as I’ve said several times already, they seem every bit as good as much pricier similar products from YSL and, more recently, Tom Ford (I think) and Guerlain. I’m pretty sure I’ll be wanting Get Ready for when autumn rolls around.
Girl Gang is my absolute favourite, but I have really good dupes in CP’s Gallop and Maybelline’s Spice For Me.
I like Get Ready as well.
get ready as a dupe for chanel – rose violine… my most wearable and most expensive pink… i might take a plunge
