Anastasia Holiday 2019 Liquid Lipstick Holiday Vault ($69.00 for 1.1 oz.) is a value-packed vault featuring 10 liquid lipsticks with eight, metallic finishes and two more traditional matte finishes. I don’t think there was a single shade that was particularly good; there were a few that were pigmented and long-wearing enough to keep the ratings up, but every shade was drying to some degree and most emphasized lip texture, lip lines, or separated along my lip lines.

Bellini

Bellini is a bright, medium pink-coral base with strong, warm peachy-gold shimmer that gave it a metallic finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which did not apply as evenly as it should have, and the product separated along my lip lines as it dried down, so it emphasized both my natural lip lines along with any imperfections. It wore well for five hours before fading unevenly enough that a reapplication would have been necessary. The formula felt lightly drying over time.

Cali Sunset

Cali Sunset is a medium-dark berry with subtle, cool undertones and multi-colored flecks of pearl and micro-sparkle. The consistency was very fluid, thin, and was difficult to apply well as the product did not go on evenly and sank into my deeper lip lines. It had medium coverage that lasted for five hours before fading noticeably, while the formula felt lightly drying to me.

Chrome Rose Gold

Chrome Rose Gold is a medium-dark plum with warmer undertones and a metallic finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage that applied decently but had room for improvement. The texture was overly fluid and a little thin, which made it difficult to apply it precisely along the edges and get even coverage. This shade stayed on well for five and a half hours and felt a little drying over time.

Chrome Shadow

Chrome Shadow is a deep plum with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic finish. The liquid lipstick had opaque color payoff in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly to my lips and spread without being too fluid. The consistency was lightweight and dried down quickly, but it did emphasize my lip texture and lip lines somewhat. It lasted well for six hours and felt slightly drying to me.

Chrome Olive

Chrome Olive is a deep, antique gold with subtle,w arm undertones and a metallic finish. It was thin, overly fluid, though spreadable, which resulted in uneven application with some areas showcasing its more opaque coverage and other areas where my natural lip color came through. The liquid lipstick dried down fairly quickly, and for how metallic it was, the finish didn’t emphasize my lip lines/texture as much as anticipated. It wore well for six hours and was lightly drying over time.

Pink Punch

Pink Punch is a bright, deeper fuchsia pink with subtle, cool undertones and a flat, matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage that adhered evenly and was fairly easy to work with. The finish seemed even drier and more matte than usual, and the thinness of the product in its liquid form also stood out to me. After it dried down, it did not seem to emphasize my lip texture or lip lines like most of the other shades in the set did. The color lasted well for over six hours and left a very strong stain behind, though it was somewhat drying.

Chrome Violet

Chrome Violet is a deep purple with subtle, warm undertones and a softer, metallic finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one layer, which could be built up, but I felt like the metallic texture was already prone to emphasizing lip texture and lip lines in one layer that the second layer exacerbated the issue. The consistency was lightweight, fluid, and spreadable, but it seemed a little runny/too thin to me. This shade stayed on well for five hours before fading noticeably and felt on the drying side.

Chrome Bronze

Chrome Bronze is a deep, chocolaty brown with a metallic finish and moderate, warm undertones. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, fluid texture that was thin and spreadable but not watery. I felt like it had both the intensity and fluidity that made it easier to apply with a separate lip brush or by wiping off excess and doing the top and bottom lip with separate applications. It dried down to a flat, matte finish and only separated along m y deeper lip lines. It wore well for over six hours and felt somewhat drying over time.

Chrome Burgundy

Chrome Burgundy is a medium-dark, burgundy red with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic finish. The liquid lipstick was opaque in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly, but it dried down and emphasized my lip lines and separated along the deeper ones as well. The consistency was lightweight, fluid, and easy to spread along my lips without getting outside the lines too readily. The product started to wear away unevenly and had slight flaking after five hours of wear. It was also somewhat drying after four hours of wear.

Chrome Red

Chrome Red is a bright, medium red with strong, cool pink undertones and a flat, matte finish. The consistency was very thin, fluid, and required patience for precision (more so than typical). It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied unevenly, and as it dried down, it turned crumbly and product flaked off. There was also a distinct, pink-red base and a brighter, more true-red that seemed to sit on top. There wasn’t anything “chrome” like in the finish compared to all of the other shades named Chrome something-rather. It lasted for over six hours, as the stain came through and persisted beyond that, but was quite drying.
