Chrome Purple is a blackened purple with cooler violet and purple sparkle. The texture felt grittier due to the size and amount of the sparkles, and it wasn't helped by the denser, firmer texture that was drier compared to most modern lipsticks. It had good color coverage in a single layer, and it applied fairly evenly, but there was build up of product in my lip lines and definite unevenness around the inner area of my lips (where it didn't adhere well). It lasted well for five hours but was slightly drying over time.
