ColourPop Lost in Wonderland Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
Lost in Wonderland
ColourPop Lost in Wonderland 12-Pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($22.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a new, limited edition eyeshadow palette that included two pressed glitters, five mattes, one sparkle-matte, and five shimmers. The quality was decent but not ColourPop’s best as some of the shimmers were on the thicker side, while one pressed glitter was very difficult to work with (even discounting the inclusion of glitter).

The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

It does seem to embody the Alice In Wonderland themed colors, but I think that it runs rather pale and pastel for my medium complexion. The two pressed glitter shades looked stunning in the look that Jen Luv did using it, which truly surprised me. They are so refined that at first I thought that they were just very wet looking metallics, to be honest!
It’s really pretty! But do I need it? Probably not.
This palette is aptly named – it is a little bit ‘lost’ with all of its PET glitter shades and unstellar shimmers.
A reasonable assortment of colours though.
This palette is fun. Although, remember the short spell a couple years ago (?) when ColourPop apparently listened to those of us who don’t want plastic glitter in their eyeshadow palettes? Are there really more people who *do* want it??
Anyway, I’m glad this collection was inspired by the animated movie instead of the live-action ones.
