Midnight is a medium-dark black with neutral-to-cool undertones and barely-there micro-pearl over a matte finish. It was a bit more shimmery than a lot of comparable shades, but it was still more matte than shimmery on the lid. It was intensely pigmented with a velvety, soft consistency that blended out particularly easily. It stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably to my eye.
