Bad to the Berry is a soft black with a faint sparkle over a matte finish. It had good pigmentation with a drier, slightly chalky texture--thin, firm but not stiff, and took a little more effort to apply the color evenly to my skin. The color stayed on well for seven and a half hours on me.
