We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Skin Tone/Coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, salt & pepper hair

Favorite look: I used the same look all week, but switched out the lipstick every day. EYES: ABH Brow Wiz, MAC Omega Eyeshadow, Lancome Definicils Mascara (mini that I got free with purchase…loving this product!). FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, NARS Orgasm Blush. LIPS: These are the lipsticks I used on different days with this look: Chanel Mademoiselle, MAC Modesty, Chanel Libre, MAC Craving, Pat McGrath 1995.

Most Used Products: Everything listed in my “Favorite Look” except the lipsticks.

Beauty Discoveries: Just that I have good willpower when I really try.

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look from the week: today’s look – almost nothing on my face! A bit of concealer, some flesh toned eyeshadow (UD Thirteen from the Smoky palette), a bit of liner and a bit of lippie overtop Elizabeth Arden Lip Fix. No blush (I knew I’d be red in the face as I was going to hot yoga!). I was amazed that I looked presentable and fresh faced!
Your most used product this week: Dior Rosy Glow blush, Bare Minerals The Designer Label Ready Eyeshadow quad
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): New: Elizabeth Arden Lip Fix; Old: Bare Minerals The Designer Label (I am so glad I dug that quad out – it might have been a favourite from last week as well)

The BM Designer label quad would so suit you Mariella. I have a couple of BM quads myself, and the Wild Thing is my favourite one because it has that beautiful blue shade (not neon or pale) and it has Elitist – which is also in your quad. It’s a fantastic bronzey/olive/brown shade that works well with any other shade. I have even paired it with a dark green and it looks good.
I think that Designer Label is the sort of quad that will never go out of favour.

For good measure, I’ve got TWO pans of Elitist (my first one came in an 8 pan palette and that was my first experience of the “Ready Shadows”. It was love at first use and that continued. I just took a look at The Wild Thing images on-line and that blue is a stunner – I can see why you like it so much.

Skin tone: Under my name.

Favorite Look: For my base I used Chosungah 22 Luminous Light Blend Foundation in Porcelain, 01, blush was Thrive Causemetics Rosy and bronzer I used Too Faced Sweet Peach Bronzer. I used Kanebo Milano Collection Finishing Powder and MAC Fix + Setting spray. For my eyes I used my usual Benefit Brow Products, NYX E/S primer and then did a very basic look with Nabla Alchemist over the mobile lid, Nabla Radikal in the crease and the matte cream shade from the Pony Palette on my brow bone. I used UD 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Black Market. For inner corner highlight I used ABHVermeer. I used Thrive Causemetics Tubing Macara and UD Lip Liner and Ozone on my lips before going in with a South Korean lipstick that only has a number so no name. It was a slightly mauve pink. I really liked how the look turned out.

Most used product this week: Thrive Causemetics Tubing Mascara. I didn’t like this mascara when I first purchased it but was trying to use it up and was using my usual 3 mascara cocktail. In an effort to get rid of it quicker I started using it everyday and alone and as time passed I really started to like it. I do occasionally get a little raccoon eyes on the lower lash line but overall I am liking it.

New beauty discoveries: I have discovered that I probably am suffering from no/low buy syndrome in that I am a little depressed and not very inspired to apply makeup. I think my frequent purchases kept me interested in makeup and without it I have had to try and find ways to be inspired. I will have a small purchase for myself this week as I just placed a small ColourPop order. I wanted to get the lip blur in Alchemist before it disappeared or sold out and while I was there my daughter wanted a couple of shadows. I also placed a large order for KL Polish for my daughter as the company is folding. Lastly, I will be placing a skin care restock order very soon. I have been rationing out my skin care hoping to put it off for awhile but I am getting down to the nitty gritty on a few items so won’t be able to hold off for too much longer.

That’s interesting that you think you are suffering from the low buy syndrome because I do get like that myself if I have purchased any little makeup treat – usually a lipstick or some skincare. Maybe you dig out some older palettes that you haven’t used for awhile and treat yourself to a week of different eye looks using the palette? That tends to work for me sometimes.

skin tone/coloring: light-med. neutral (yellow leaning); dark hair, hazel eyes
Favorite look: I liked the cool smokey eye looks being that it is cool snowing and grey outdoors which inspired these cool grey looks. On sunny days I went neutral to taupe mixed with icy pinks and sandy shades. My base is always mineral/powder but found my old mac mineral powder that is in the shade golden medium and I found that it is lighter and more forgiving in this weather (extremely dry flaky skin weather) so I rediscovered it and am really liking it. I have just ordered some colorpop shadows and am saving a cart of make up geek shadows which I made sure they rated A, A+, or A- on Christines reviews which I trust. I discovered empty magnetic palette holders and depoted all my mac shadows and am loving it. That about wraps it up for this week in beauty. After all the holiday sales it is hard to buy with out a discount code for me.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral/preferring cool.

Favorite look from the week: The one I did today! I used Cherry Juice and hint of Chocolate Mousse in the crease from the Berries & Cream palette and then put Pink Diamond from Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered on the lid. Then in the inner corner was MAC Nylon. Face was Nars Soft matte concealer and Armani Luminous Silk 2 everywhere. I set with Hourglass translucent,t hen CT Pillow Talk blush, NARS Loves Me Not and the middle powder in the Hourglass unlocked on my cheeks. I lined with NYX Nude Beige and then put on Huda Muse liquid lip, which actually made it look less purple.

Your most used product this week: Wet n Wild Illuminaughtly highlighting and concealing pen – my skin has been a wreck.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): CT Super Nineties, I can see it becoming an instant HG lipstick for me. Fades down so beautifully.

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favourite look from the week: I think my favourite look has been when I used my City Colour shades of Cleo (Bronze) and All Eyes on Me (taupe), with my new EA Sweet Peach blush (very pigmented) and Colour Pop’s Gallop lipstick.

Your most used product this week: Just all my staples.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I am realising that I have eyeshadows that I use all year round: navy, neutrals, coppery bronzes. And those that I use seasonally – eg more blue/teals and greens, including mint in summer. In winter I tend to use more of my neutrals and grey shades.

Skin Tone/Coloring – Light skin with neutral undertones. Green eyes & reddish hair.

Favorite look: Eyes done with Tom Ford Honeymoon quad. #3 (metallic cranberry) on lid with #4 (plum) in crease and lower lash line. #1 which works on me as a medium warm gold on brow bone. All over Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Brows done with Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows in Linda over taupe pencil

Lots of mascara & Sugarpill Sinnocent lashes.

Tarte Paaarty blush over Dior Backstage foundation and Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow primer.

Not super happy with lipstick choices, time to go shopping. Used a medium pink matte. Skindinavia setting spray.

Favorite toy: Tom Ford quad

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Favorite look from the week: I only wore makeup once this week, as I wasn’t feeling well. The one day I went out on errands, I went pretty light. NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand in Alabaster on my cheeks and nose to cover redness, and to spot-conceal some acne, and Tony Moly Cats Wink Clear Pact powder all over my face. Pink cream blush, UD Troublemaker mascara, and MAC Finally Free Lipstick.

Your most used product this week: L’oreal Revitalift Triple Power Deep-Acting Moisturizer; lip balms

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): None this week

Your skin tone/colouring: Light medium, yellow undertones. Dark brown hair & eyes.

Favourite look from the week: A simple eye with Sydney Grace Haven as a transition, Concrete Road in the crease, Peace and Immortal over the mobile lid (inner and outer halves) with a teeny tiny bit of Colourpop Paradiso blended on the very outer corner over Peace to pick up the purple pink from Haven.
Zoeva New Jewels glittery purple eyeliner, Colourpop BFF black mascara.
SG Mauve Delight blush, Pure Joy highlighter and Natio Delight lipstick, which is a cool berry mauve satin with very faint pearl.

Your most used product this week: Linda Hallberg Flash Crayon in Levy Flash – it’s lighter, brighter (and more glittery!) than my all time fave Zoeva Glance 🙂

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Natio (Australian brand) have reformulated and repackaged their standard lipsticks and I AM IN LOVE. Great range of wearable colours, a mix of creme and satin pearl finishes, they are smooth and creamy without being waxy or too slippery, they settle nicely on the lip, have a nifty magnetic closure and they smell like cake.
I bought 2 and then went out two days later and bought 5 more (because they were 30% off, why the heck not?!)

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair with neutral undertones and freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Favorite look from the week: I did a really pretty soft halo eye using the Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita quad, CT Cheek-to-Chic blush in Ecstasy, Hollywood Flawless Filter as my highlight, and Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Musk. I mostly just loved how the halo eye blended out… I’ve been practicing my eyeshadow blending for the past couple of months and this is the first time a halo eye actually turned out nice for me!

Your most used product this week: Probably the No. 7 Triple Action Lift & Illuminate Serum foundation and Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): The above foundation is my new holy grail foundation, but also I really love the Maybelline Fit Me loose finishing powder and I don’t even like powders on me at all. It sets my under eye so nicely! Also I still love Bite Beautys Luminous Creme Formula, in Musk especially. I wish they would bring it back, even as much as I love the Amuse Bouche formula.
