Marc Jacobs Beauty (Dove)affair Fineliner Ultra-Skinny Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner ($24.00 for 0.0038 oz.) is a soft, grayish-taupe with subtle, cool undertones and a cream finish--not quite flat matte but not shimmery. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, while the eyeliner had a smooth, creamy consistency that glided easily across my lash line and water line without tugging. It applied well to both my lower lash line and water line, but it didn't adhere as well to my upper water line (which is a trouble spot for me, generally). It wore well for 12 hours on my lower lash line and nine and a half hours on my water line before thinning/fading noticeably.
