I like the Superbowl theme for this post 🙂 I actually like to pair bright blue shadow with soft peachy orange blush and muted peachy brown lips. I can’t wear the yellowish- oranges due to my yellow undertones, will make me look like I need a new liver, but NARS Taj Mahal looks like it’s warm enough for me to pull off and the gold shimmer is stunning!! It’s on my wishlist for next Sephora sale. And as for the blues, I have Bella Cobalt and City Color Shimmer Shadow in It’s a Boy! Are you a big football fan?

Cute theme! Neither of these are colors I own or wear a lot of. There are lots of pretty eyeshadows for me to consider.

My favorite yellowish oranges: MUFE Artist Shadow ME734 (Tangerine); Sleek Afterglow (iDivine Sunset Palette); Sleek Pumpkin Pie from Blush x 3 in Pumpkin; Nyx Macaron Lippie in Orange Blossom and Citron; Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer in Citrine; Kat von D Studded Lipstick in Halo; Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in A Go-Go; Maybelline Baby Lips In Oh Orange.

My favorite cyan/mid-tone bright blues: Nyx Macaron Lippie in Blue Velvet; Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Jawbreaker (now if I could only catch in stock to buy it!); ColourPop Ultra Matte in Blonde (pretty close dupe for Jawbreaker, but it gets a little tight and peels if I put on too much); Urban Decay Gonzo (pigment and eyeliner pencil); the blues from the Morphe Picasso (12P) Palette; Sleek Bolt (i-Divine Acid Palette); the cyan blue from bhCosmetics Foil Eyes palette; the cyan blue from City Color Cosmetics Intense Shine Palette.

I love looking at yellower-orange, but I don’t find they suit me as much as a redder orange (though I’m not a fan of orange on me as much in general!).

Great picks, Rachel! Always look forward to seeing your lists – they are so comprehensive!

I love MAC Morange for an orangey-red lipstick that doesn’t lean yellow. Nars Taj Mahal is on my list of blushes to try. Btw, the bottom of the post asks “What are your favorite peach-hued shades?”

Genevieve Avatar

My favourite peach hued shades are in my blush – soft and subtle. I love Elizabeth Arden’s Ginger Spice – which is a lovely summer peachy lipstick.
I love that Milani Bella Cobalt eye shadow and the L’Oreal Cobalt eye liner too.
I hope the team that you favour wins!

I adore this shade of blue – cobalt or ultra marine. It reminds me so much of the summer with a clear bright blue sky and the sea. Some great examples there, I might consider picking up one or two from the list!

My faces are Tom Ford Flame lipstick, Bobbi Brown Nude Peach blush, Hourglass Ambient Lighting blshes in Incandescent Electra (and orange on me) and Dim Infusion (peachy on me).

Such beautiful blues 🙂 (Orange is a really difficult color for me to wear in a flattering way.) MUFE S214 and D or D218 haven’t been available on Sephora’s website for a long, long time. They’re not on MUFE’s website either. I don’t have S214 and wish I did have it — for 218 I just have the little pan that came in the Studio Case. I wonder what gives with these shades? 218 is very similar to ME216 Electric Blue, but not identical… Milani Bella Cobalt and Inglot #436 are gorgeous, too, as is Kat Von D’s Paranoid… but my favorite blues for myself lean either darker or more violet: MUFE ME202 Iceberg Blue, I212 Periwinkle, ME 216 Electric Blue, D222 Night Blue, ME224 Navy Blue; Bobbi Brown Iced Blue shadow stick; the blues in the ViseArt Bridal Satin palette; and the blues on the Ciate London Smoldering palette; and Ardency Inn Blue is Black lipstick. Straight-up orange isn’t a color that I really have a favorite of, for myself; it’s more a color that I try to make work when it comes in a palette (sunset eyes *are* pretty).

Awesome! This is super bowl themed but 2 random colors favorites is a fun post! I’d add UD Radium to the blues! So many good blues out there! Orange. Puppy ColourPop gel liner? Isn’t that the orange? Sunset MJB Highliner. I’m scared of NARS. I’ve always wanted to try Taj Mahal over Exhibit A on someone.

Would love to see it. These 2 are more pigmented than some? “The authority on blush” can’t all be bad. ?? Crap. Inching closer to a NARS counter for swatching! I do like the way the narcissist l’amour palette looks. Must check your review! What brushes do you recommend for the bad NARS blush?
