Sephora Sandblasted, Desert Dreaming, Off the Grid #Lipstories Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Sandblasted (72)
Sephora Sandlbasted (72) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium, peachy gold packed full of gold sparkle and micro-glitter. The base seemed more translucent, though the base color added some warmth to my natural lip color, while the shimmer/sparkle contributed to more semi-sheer coverage.
The texture was moderately emollient, lightweight, but noticeably textured with a tendency to clump up during application. This resulted in areas that were thicker, product that sank into my deeper lip lines, and a generally unevenness appearance. I’d recommend applying this with a fingertip patted over another lipstick for added sparkle but it didn’t work well on its own at all. It stayed on for three hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.14 oz. - $57.14 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "lightweight" with "full-coverage color in one swipe." The majority of shades were pigmented with semi-opaque to full color payoff in a single layer, as described. The more shimmery shades tended to be a bit sheerer overall, while the mattes and creams were usually closer to opaque in coverage.
The textures were typically creamy, lightweight, and not too thin or too thick on the lips, so they were comfortable to apply and to wear. There were some shades where the color pulled into my deeper lip lines upon application, and it was more or less noticeable just depending on the color and finish of the particular.
Some shades seemed hydrating and others were non-drying. They lasted anywhere from three to over six hours on me. There was a subtle, sweet, fruity scent (I couldn't detect it on, just in the tube), and I haven't noticed any taste after wearing them.

Desert Dreaming (73)
Sephora Desert Dreaming (73) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a darker, yellowed peach with strong, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had rich color coverage that applied fairly evenly to my lips, but the denser, slightly thicker consistency (though not actually heavy to wear) seemed more prone to separating along my deeper lip lines. It lasted well for four hours but settled noticeably into my lip lines, so I had to constantly press my lips together to smooth it back out.

Off the Grid (74)
Sephora Off the Grid (74) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, light-medium brown with moderate, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had an interesting balance between yellow and red undertones–it wasn’t quite rosy enough to be a coral yet it was too dark to be peach!
The texture had moderate slip, a lightweight feel, and was comfortable to apply as it didn’t tug or dragon my lips. It had nearly opaque pigmentation, which wore well for four and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

I can’t seem to decide whether or not I need Off the Grid….
While I’m really digging the name and color of Off The Grid, it may be a pinch too yellow for me. Maybe.
I do have MAC Apricot Gold and I’ve always thought that that’s about as warm as I can go in a lighter lipstick in this color family. Who knows?
Oh my, some of these are pretty awful…Off the Grid is the best of the bunch.
None of these are my colors, but I really dig all the tube art for this collection.
Sandblasted looks so, so gross.
I’m looking at Off The Grid. It’s quite interesting, but I’m see-sawing over whether or not it would pull me sallow. I have nothing like it in my vanity
