Tom Ford Private Life (01) Soleil Lip Foil ($53.00 for 0.10 oz.) is light-medium gold with warm, yellow undertones and a fine, pearly sheen. It had medium coverage, which was somewhat buildable, but opaque coverage wans't possible.
The Soleil Lip Foil formula is described as having a "vibrant, reflective-foil finish" that goes on with "smooth, even application for brilliant, luxurious vibrancy." The consistency was smooth, lightweight, and thinner with minimal slip, so I was surprised to find some of the color gathered in my lip lines after applying it. I found the formula to be lightly moisturizing over the four hours it lasted, though. I think this would work better layered over another lipstick or lip pencil.
