Sephora Holiday 2017 Sale! (Updated 12/14)
Fenty Galaxy Eyeshadow Palette
Sephora has just marked down a ton of holiday products and sets in their sale section! I’ve pulled some highlights below, but you can check out everything on sale here. As of 12/14, there were several additional items added to the sale section! There are also new items in the Weekly Wow (a few were already on sale, but now Benefit They’re Real Mascara for $15, Anastasia Liquid Lipstick for $12, Urban Decay Naked Skin Highlighting Fluids for $14, ).

I’m in awe at how many relatively new products are being offered at a pretty sweet discount! The one thing I’m waiting on is when they lower the MUFE Artist Shadows to make way for their new formula. Makes me sad, though.
Well I completely regret getting the Fenty palette during the sale… I wonder if they’d do a price adjustment if the purchase was made exactly a month and a day ago :/
Credit cards that offer price rewind protection are great! I have the Citi Double Cash card, and mostly got it for the 2% cash rewards, but I love the price rewinds! I just have to register the product I bought with the price paid and date purchased, and the site automatically looks for a lower price online for 60 days after the purchase date. If it finds a lower price, I can get a credit for the difference. The auto-search isn’t the best, though, so sometimes I just submit my own scanned docs of the lower price online to get the credit. It’s really taken the “stress” out of should-I-buy-now-or-later decisions.
I bought the Fenty palette at 20% off a month and a day ago, too! So I just registered that purchase to get the extra $8.20 back.
I’m not sure if there are cards like that in Canada but honestly I’m not up to signing up for credit card specifically for a benefit like this, I’ll try my luck and call their customer service to see what they have to say. Thank you for the info though! Seems like your shopping is probably a bit more stress free than mine 🙂
I recently went to Sephora to get the price difference on the Marc Jacobs Cats Meow lip gloss set I brought for 20% off VIB sale. I brought the set in store and they did a return and repurchase. I saved $11.35.
Just return it and repurchase it. You will get the difference on a store credit. Sometimes if your lucky the cashier won’t notice that the 30 days have passed ?
They will. I just took mine back because it is on sale at my local sephora for 22.50 (whattttttt!!!)
Oh, wow! Good to know! I was getting ready to be upset over the Urban Decay Metallic palette but remembered I bought mine at Ulta with 20% off plus a bunch of points so got it at a better price anyway. Better start saving those receipts!

I don’t recall recent releases like the Fenty Palette ever being discounted so quickly . Seems that things are changing in the retail beauty business. I just bought the Fenty palette s few weeks ago ?.
The product isn’t selling well due to more competition
If you bought it only a few weeks ago, there’s a good chance that Sephora will honor the new price. Call them!!
More items on sale! It’s always good to wait for that desired makeup item because it soon goes on sale.
Thanks so much for this! I think I’m swayed by the $20 price drop on the Fenty Galaxy palette. My goodness, I’m ordering from Ulta and Sephora every other day lately. Oh, well, I’ve had my eye on a 500 point reward and this puts me closer to it.
I was expecting these sales until January or after Christmas (Boxing day) sale Sephora does. I saw that the Milk Makeup Holographic Powder Quad went on sale last week but I had to wait for my paycheck today to get it with KVD Bruno (Finally came in stock 😉 ).
It’s amazing to me that so much is so discounted so quickly. A big learning for me to just be patient if I really want something, it may well go on sale quickly.

That’s an amazing price for the YSL lipsticks, especially since the colors are permanent so it’s just the funky packaging causing the discount. I need another lipstick like I need a hole in my head, but I’m ordering backups of Le Nu since it’s 25% off.

I’m a little mad I could have waited and saved $20 on the Heavy Metal palette, but I HAVE used it 4 times since buying it, so at least I’ve been putting it to use.
Seeing all these recent palettes on mark down makes me wonder if we’ve finally reached peak palette.
I called it way back when it came to UD Heavy Metal Palette, that it would go on clearance. With its bizzarely constructed and poorly thought out packaging design, this was bound to. The sad part? The actual shadows are fantastic!
I just bought the UD Heavy Metals, because I saw the sale notice on your site! It’s even cheaper in Canada–$36 Canadian! WOW.
A lot of other items are not on sale in Canada, but that’s the one I wanted anyway…winner-winner!
HMM ?? why such deep discounts maybe not selling well? i know I was underwhelmed with the offerings this year.
My husband bought me Heavy Metals for our anniversary, 3 days ago! They gave me the $16 in online credit, couldn’t be happier, haha. I saw someone else worried about getting the difference back on the original post, and they will do it, although I don’t know what the time frame is!
Also newly on sale are the Milk Makeup eyeshadow quads (now $18) and the Kevyn Aucoin Neo Trio Palette (down to $25, but currently out of stock, it was in stock as recently as yesterday evening).
