About Last Night No. 12 is a deep black with a matte finish. The pigmentation was mostly opaque, though the texture was a smidgen thin and drier, so it was harder to apply on bare skin. It is a shade that applies and works better over other shades to darken them than all-over on its own (I would use an eyeshadow primer underneath it for that type of application).
