About Last Night No. 08 is a sooty, grayish black with cool undertones and very faint blue shimmer. The shimmer isn't noticeable on the lid, though you can see it in the pan and in the swatch close-up. The texture was firmer and harder to apply, as it would go on unevenly and was harder to blend out. I recommend using a fluffier brush and layering it over another eyeshadow to darken, rather than used on its own, to minimize the visible unevenness.
