ColourPop Best O Creme Gel Liner ($5.00 for 0.01 oz.) is described as a "deepened burgundy." It's a dark, burgundy with warm, plummy red undertones and an ultra-matte finish--it's very flat and appears almost dry. The texture is actually creamy, but it dries down to an all-matte finish with absolutley no sheen. Once it dries down, it is hard to smudge, so it's an eyeliner that wears better but can be unforgiving if you make mistakes (you'll need remover to fix!). On me, the eyeliner wore well for nine hours before thinning slightly. The pencil is quite a bit lighter and has a stronger warm tone to it than the pot version. ColourPop Best O (P, $6.00) is darker (85% similar). Chanel Psyche (959) (P, $33.00) is darker, warmer (85% similar). Estee Lauder Burgundy Suede (P, $28.00) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty Fine(wine) (P, $24.00) is lighter (80% similar). Wayne Goss Deep Amethyst (P, $14.00) is darker, cooler (80% similar). bareMinerals 6AM (LE, $15.00) is more shimmery, cooler (85% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

Precision of a liquid with the ease of a gel based formula. Apply with a brush, we like a super fine, firm and synthetic angled brush. Dip tip of the brush, coat both sides – be careful not to pick up too much product! Work quickly, as the formula becomes transfer resistant once it dries. Do NOT leave opened for long periods of time or it will dry out and you will be sad. Be sure to close the lid tightly after each use.
