MAC’s Powder Blush formula is supposed to be easy to apply, long-wearing, and have “fantastic colour.” It’s hard to generalize for MAC’s blush formula, because it varies a lot from shade to shade, even within different types of finishes! Some of them are very good, others are so-so, and a few are complete misses. The more frosted/shimmery shades tend to have the softest and smoothest textures and are easier to apply and blend out on the skin, while more satin and matte shades can sometimes be powdery, firm, or stiff, which makes blending more challenging. The wear is typically between six and nine hours but closer to seven to eight hours on average. Fever is intensely pigmented with a soft, fairly blendable texture that doesn’t look totally flat on skin; it’s mostly matte, but I find it produces a natural finish once buffed and blended out. This shade lasted for nine hours on me.

Nice. It seems like we are seeing a lot of these deep reddish. berry shades that I would have never that I could pull off until Clinique’s Cola pop came into my life and your tips. This is pretty. But, I have my heart set on getting Neolita and it seems too close given the size of my current blush situation.

And ANOTHER beautiful blush by MAC!!! I am thinking of getting an empty palette that would hold several of MAC’s blushes, because having overlooked these for so long and only now paying them any attention, I really want to get some of them, including Fever.

This may very well be my first MAC purchase. I absolutely love this color! It suits my complexion well. I find it difficult to find a reddish burgundy that isn’t too cool. I have NARS dolce vita and love it, too.

I love this color! It looks really good on you Christine. It is similar to Fashion Fair chocolate chip, but FF’s blush is more matte and a little more brown.
