Tower 28 After Hours BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream Blush ($20.00 for 0.158 oz.) is a darker, reddened-plum with subtle, warm undertones and a natural sheen. It had buildable coverage from semi-sheer to low-medium to mostly opaque coverage (two to three layers), and it actually was able to be built up in practice; sometimes, cream blushes can be overly emollient and more product just results in covering a larger area rather than really layering intensity.
The texture was smooth, lightly creamy, and a little thicker but not heavy, so it retained some of that coverage initially but was more inclined to sheer out and was very foolproof to work with as a cream blush. The product dried down within twenty seconds but still looked luminous and a little glossy. I didn't have any issues applying it to bare skin or over foundation by patting and gently diffusing the edges with a fingertip. It stayed on nicely for eight hours as a blush before fading visibly.
As one might expect, its performance as a lip product was more middling; it lasted for three hours, felt non-drying, and applied decently without emphasizing my natural lip texture or catching around imperfections. It did not read as dewy on my lips, though, and had more of a satin sheen.
