ColourPop She Bad Matte X Lippie Stix
ColourPop She Bad Matte X Lippie Stix ($5.00 for 0.035 oz.) is a medium peach with warm, orange-brown tones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque color coverage with a lightweight, velvety consistency that was easy to maneuver and apply across the lips. The texture seemed to emphasize the natural texture of my lips, and it appeared “cracked” slightly when I smiled or widened my mouth. The color lasted for five and a half hours and started to feel drying after four hours of wear. Maybelline Nude Embrace (P, $7.99) is darker, warmer (90% similar). Too Faced When In Doubt (P, $22.00) is darker (90% similar). Milani Adore (LE, $8.99) is darker, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop Platform (LE, $6.50) is darker, warmer (95% similar). ColourPop Cami Matte X Lippie Stix ($5.00 for 0.035 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark rosy plum with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had great pigmentation with a creamy, velvety-smooth consistency that applied without tugging. The texture was less forgiving and did accentuate the natural texture of my lips, so if you have lips prone to cracking/peeling/flaking, this might be a flattering formula on. The color wore well for six hours and was lightly drying over time. ColourPop Cami (PiP, $7.00) is cooler (95% similar). MAC Mmmmmm (LE, $19.00) is glossier (95% similar). NARS Calypso (LE, ) is cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Backtalk (DC, $22.00) is cooler (90% similar). Tarte Cabana Boy (P, $22.00) is darker, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop Tickler Matte X Lippie Stix ($5.00 for 0.035 oz.) is a bold, bright medium fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque color payoff with a very smooth, velvety texture that applied without tugging or dragging. I was surprised that the color appeared slightly “cracked” despite being a darker/brighter shade, though it was not as apparent as it was in She Bad. The color lasted for over seven hours and was lightly drying after five hours. Urban Decay Savage (DC, $18.00) is glossier (95% similar). Makeup Geek Bachelorette (P, $12.00) is darker, more muted (95% similar). MAC Candy Yum Yum (P, $19.00) is darker, glossier (90% similar). FORMULA OVERVIEW | ColourPop Matte X Lippie Stix ($5.00 for 0.035 oz.) is supposed to have “full coverage” in one stroke that is “long-wearing” with “the smoothest, most velvety glide” while still retaining a “super matte finish.” The formula glides on really well, and they have a smooth, lightweight texture that feels thin and has a more powdery, matte finish on the lips. Some are really comfortable to wear for most of the time, a few are somewhat drying earlier on and may look drier or “cracked,” though the majority look good applied. They are longer-wearing; not quite as long as the Ultra Matte or Ultra Satin range but longer than the average lipstick. I found most shades that I’ve tested thus far (about half the range) to be comfortable for most of the time. The formula held up fairly well to eating and very well for drinking/sipping out of a cup or mug. As they are thin, they don’t really slide or move around on my lips, so once they do start to fade or lose color, it’s better to re-apply than try to smooth back into place. The formula has a light vanilla scent but no discernible taste. They come in the same type (and amount) as the regular Lippie Stix range, so it’s worth noting that they contain less than a standard lipstick tube at 0.035 oz. (the average tube is around 0.10 oz.).

Yes…. She Bad and Cami is going on my to get list next year (or winter sale).
Woohoo! 🙂
I love the color of Tickler!
Yay!
Cami: wow. Like to see a Venn diagram of all those dupes and how they overlap. Cami has a lot in common with so many of the most popular shades in the past couple of years. It should do mega well. Suspect it will sell out instantly on CP. So go for it, people, and quickly.
I agree — Cami is going to be popular!
I ordered Cami during the 10% flash sale, glad it scored nicely. Not liking the looks of She Bad, it looks like concealer that dried up and caked. And wow, Tickler is super duper bright!
Tickler is a bold shade!
The only one I’m loving here is Cami, of which I have too many dupes for! Haha!
She Bad looks BAD! I cannot stand the ultra pale, cracked lip look that so many brands are throwing out here on us.
Tickler is gorgeous, but not a shade that works very well with my olive undertones.
I was surprised that it cracked like you’d expect a liquid lipstick to, lol!
Cami looks great – I ordered it during the flash sale and I’m looking forward to trying it out!
I can’t wait for you to try it, CeeBee! Keep us posted.
I really like the look of Cami. Looking at it in the tube I expected it to be warmer in tone though. I’m sure I have a similar colour already and I’ve not had much luck with any ColourPop lip products in the past but I just thought I’d say that it’s a nice colour anyway!
Glad you liked the color, Gillian 😀
Cami is beautiful but I’m torn between CP Cami and Tarte Tarteist TBT. Which one would you recommend?
That’s tough! Cami is more transfer-proof and I think it may wear a little longer, but Tarte’s more comfortable.
OMG THese colour pop swatches are so unreal! I missed the sale from a couple of days ago but ahhh! I’d go out and buy 3-4 of these!
Hope you can snag some next time!
Glad to see Cami reviewed all right, I nabbed it during the sale this weekend. (Back Up as well, which got an A, yay!) I’m hoping it will end up a decent MLBB sort of shade for me.
Tickler is NUTS.
Hope it works well for you, Quinctia! 🙂
Cami looks really lovely!
It is a nice color!
You’re on point with these (as always) -in LOVE with Cami…this formula is like a solid liquid lipstick, I just wish there were more shades for daily wear like this one. A new favorite!
Thank you so much, Beka! 🙂 Hope you’re well!
