American Woman is a medium, rosy mauve with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a smooth, fluid texture that was a little thinner/too spreadable, so I had to be careful when working with it to maintain precise lines.
The product took a minute or so to dry down, and I find that after 15-25 seconds, if I gently press my lips together, it accelerates the dry down. The color stayed on well for five and a half hours and was non-drying over time.
