Rose Gold Highlighters

I have a weakness for rose gold, whether it’s jewelry, shoes, or my highlighters. For me, these types of hues double as a blush and highlighter but are very “everyday” wearable for me. Whenever a new one releases, I find myself reaching for it over and over again whenever I need a lil’ oomph for photos but don’t want it to dominate in every photo.

My list of best rose gold highlighters features 10 permanent favorites! Two limited edition shades that I’ll wear over and over again are Dose of Colors Bathe (this just released and I couldn’t resist slipping it into my go-to drawer–it’s that good! the shine! the blendability!) and Estee Lauder’s Modern Mercury (which is almost identical to MAC Superb, listed below). Honestly, I’m spoiled–there are so many fantastic variations available at all different price points and, to a degree, how reflective the finish one prefers.

Flesh Beauty’s Promise is going to be perfect for someone who wants less of a metallic/high-shine finish, whereas OFRA’s Blissful yields the most metallic finish. For deeper skin tones, Coloured Raine Bourgeois and Fenty’s Ginger Beinge/Moscow Mule both give a beautiful, red-copper glow to the skin with the depth and intensity that richer skin tones need to get a similar highlighting blush effect (but many of the lighter options could work as a highlighter).

I keep these shades in my vanity as go-tos (when you’re in love with a shade, you really learn to identify every nuance between them to justify having six near-dupes in one drawer…): ColourPop Might Be, Makeup Geek Rekindle, MAC Superb, and Laura Geller Ballerina.

I have Smashbox Rosemantic, which I bought to use as a highlighter and blush all in one. I rarely ever use it because it’s a bit too warm for my skin, but it’s a really beautiful shade and the packaging is gorgeous.

I love your statement: “When you’re in love with a shade, you really learn to identify every nuance between them to justify having six near-dupes in one drawer.” That perfectly describes my lipstick collection!

I use the Smashbox Rosemantic as a blush and the Becca Vanilla Quartz Higlighter above & somewhat blended into my blush at the top of my cheekbone. I get soooo many compliments. I have done this with almost any eye look but I have also used the same two products on my eyes for a mono look. I am fair w/neutral undertones, blue eyes and brown hair w/heavy blonde highlights.

I love all of these rose gold highlighters but frankly, I can’t wear a single one as a highlighter. About the closest I can come and pull off is Becca Rose Quartz and I use that as a blush topper and not a true highlighter. I do use several rose gold highlighters as eye shadows. I am just too fair to pull these shades off but I am always hoping to find one. I see a lot of YT’ers using these beautiful rose gold shades to help in bronzing up there looks and I am envious.

I too love all things rose gold. I’ve been (im)patiently waiting for a highlighter light enough for my fair complexion. I’m not into highlighting blush.

My favorite shade also! Lovely! So last night finally purchased Maybelline Molten Rose & Molten Peach both have been making me drool for a while so Target has buy two and get $5.00 card reward and that’s was it! Did I mention I’m on a makeup diet but highliters are excused. Both colors look so pretty and I’m actually afraid they might be too dark and even worst way glittery for me I like them subtle but I’ll play with them and figure it out.
