About Face No Queen Blues, Infinity, Freaked Matte Fluid Eye Paints Reviews & Swatches
No Queen Blues
About Face No Queen Blues Matte Fluid Eye Paint ($16.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a bright, cobalt blue with cool undertones and a matte finish. The over emollient quality of the texture made this shade more prone to sheering out and harder to build up.
- Semi-opaque coverage; prone to sheering out
- Fluid, lightweight consistency that seemed too emollient/moveable
- Harder to apply evenly, took longer to dry down, better as a base or liner
- Long-wearing (12 hours)

Formula Overview
$16.00/0.15 oz. - $106.67 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "bold, buildable pigment" that "swipes on easily" and has a "no-budge, no-smudge finish." The liquid eyeshadow has a lightweight, fluid consistency that felt like a cross between water and gel, which ensured that the product glided over my skin, blended out evenly, but wasn't prone to settling into fine lines. Most shades were pigmented with little product required for it but a few shades were more semi-opaque.
They dry down fairly quickly, so I would recommend working one area at a time if more diffused/blended areas were desired. It would also be prudent to go in with fingertips or a fluffy brush to diffuse edges if choosing to wear the product all over the lid. Due to the pigmentation, consistency, and dry down time, they did lend themselves to eyeliner and more graphic eyeshadow shapes/lines.
Once they set, they were quite budge-proof and lasted for 12 hours without fading or creasing on me when worn as an eyeshadow and 12 hours as an eyeliner.

I don’t know about these…
Freaked would be a perfect base for my Natasha Denona Retro Midi palette, but not a shade that I can see myself wearing as a standalone eyeshadow.
The 1st two would truly make for some interesting deeper liners!
I thought the blue shade was a bit patchy, but the other two are quite good. The purple shade is quite a smoky colour – that little bit more unusual.
Really pretty! Maybe someday I’ll learn how to use liquid eye shadows and the like. Currently, they make me nervous. 😅
