- ColourPop Zulu (P, $7.00).
Formula Overview
$4.49/0.04 oz. - $112.25 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "full-coverage" with "16 hour" wear" that is "smudge-proof" and "water-resistant." Most shades were on the pigmented side with semi-opaque to opaque coverage that could be layered.
The texture was lightly creamy, smooth, and comfortable to work with as the eyeliner glided across my skin without tugging or pulling. They wore around 10 hours on me before showing signs of thinning/fading, so not quite the 16-hours promised, but there was about half of the eyeliner still visible at the 16-hour mark.

Sequins
LA Girl Sequins Shockwave Eyeliner ($4.49 for 0.04 oz.) is a medium-dark violet purple with subtle, warm pink undertones and cooler, blue-violet pearl. This was one of the worst performers in the range that I tried–likely due to the amount of slip.
- Sheer pigmentation
- Very emollient, prone to sliding and pushing product around
- Applied unevenly
- Long-wearing (8 hours)

I need Fresh and Ocean in my life, both metaphorically and literally! Buying both next time I get into an Ulta.
Oceans is a gorgeous shade, but whatever happened to Sequins? That’s a real miss by QC.
I need to go through and chuck a bunch of old liners. These are in the running for new contenders (well, you know, some of them)!
I need Fresh! What a fun color. I had both Fresh and Ocean on my wish list and am so glad they perform well.
Ocean is lovely, I have the first dupe on the list, so I don’t need it, but I love seeing a nice green eyeliner.
I use Fresh several times a month on my lower lashline because it’s one of my favorite ways to add a pop of color. I think I’m on my 3rd pencil in that color. I’ve probably had it long enough that I need to toss it but it’s still just as creamy and bright as ever.
I own the first three (the ones that got positive reviews lol) and I LOVE them and use them all the time!!!
