Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I purchased the NARS Radiant Light Reflecting foundation two months ago and am absolutely in love with it. It works really well for me and I love that I can do just a light application for day and build it up if I want to for any events. Even though I have an oily t-zone and “radiant” scared me off initially, it doesn’t get oil slicky like many foundations can on me.

Lately its been Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow foundation or the Chantecaille oil free gel foundation which has a pudding consistency and I’m pretty happy with both…Having very dry skin and living in the desert I want a long lasting but not dry looking foundation that gives a soft baby skin look…..most are either too glowy oily and not long lasting or are long lasting but are too dry, parched looking…the ones above have worked pretty well for me…..I’m always open to any recommendations!

BareMinerals classic mineral foundation – applied at the office to look a little more elegant on Zoom calls. Easy to apply, subtle, and comfortable.

I’m going to wear Wet n Wild’s dewy photo focus foundation tonight when I go to a drag show to perform- it takes a couple of layers for full coverage, but I need it to be sheer and dewy to make up for an eczema flare up. (Many thanks to my MUA friend for this tip on achieving full coverage while experiencing eczema!)

Chanel NO 1 in B30. I’m loving this foundation. It checked all the boxes for me. I tend to use it more sheerly, but it can be built up as necessary. And it’s very kind to my mature, slightly dry skin. It doesn’t hurt that this shade is exactly perfect for me this time of year.
