Vortex is a muted, deeper purple with neutral-to-cool undertones and a matte finish. The consistency felt drier with moderate powderiness and light fallout during application. It had medium to semi-opaque coverage that did not build up well.
I felt like every time I tried to use this, it made the end result look worse as it just didn't blend out well and didn't layer nicely with other shades in the palette (seemed to bring out skin texture/make everything appear drier). The color lasted decently for seven hours before I noticed fading.
