The formula is supposed to have "bold, buildable pigment" that "swipes on easily" and has a "no-budge, no-smudge finish." The liquid eyeshadow has a lightweight, fluid consistency that felt like a cross between water and gel, which ensured that the product glided over my skin, blended out evenly, but wasn't prone to settling into fine lines. Most shades were pigmented with little product required for it but a few shades were more semi-opaque.
They dry down fairly quickly, so I would recommend working one area at a time if more diffused/blended areas were desired. It would also be prudent to go in with fingertips or a fluffy brush to diffuse edges if choosing to wear the product all over the lid. Once they set, they were quite budge-proof and lasted for 12 hours without fading or creasing on me when worn as an eyeshadow and 12 hours as an eyeliner.
