My skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look you wore: such a simple one – from an old Tarte palette (Aqualillies), I used Sundeck (very light brown) in the crease, Barefoot (a light, shimmery beige) on the mobile lid and Hammock ( a rich, cool matte brown) on the outer lid/crease. Gosh Metallic Brass to line, MAC Rosy Cheeks blush and Party Line lipstick. I was so please with this look that I repeated it 2 more times this week…made the mornings go very quickly, with none of the faffing around over what to wear, what to use…
Most used product of the week: Again, it would be the Aqualillies for Tarte palette along with my “new” beauty discovery…..
Any new beauty discoveries: Embriolisse face cream. I’ve had it for almost a week and I have used it night and day since it arrived and I like it so much.
I think I’ll forever regret not getting the Aqualillies palette. It’s so pretty. That sounds like a lovely look.
Rachel, at the time, I nearly passed on it because of the coral-leaning blush but I’m so glad I didn’t (and the blush, which looks so coral in the pan, actually applies a much more flattering pink tone for me).
My skin tone/coloring: light to medium with warm undertones, MAC NC 23 ish/Tom Ford Bisque or Natural/MAC Matchmaster 1.5/GA Lasting Silk UVF 5.5, hazel eyes, brown hair/gray and blonde smatterings. I’m letting my gray grow in. I’ve colored it for so long, I didn’t realize how much I had. I don’t mind the way it looks, actually. I can’t be bothered to sit in the chair for 3 hours every month anymore and I don’t want to have to spray the gray away every few days. New makeup possibilities!
Favorite look you’ve worn:
Eyes: MAC Gravitas Palette
* transition: Soft Brown
* crease: Antiqued
* deepen crease or outer v: Persuade or Lofty
* lid: Satin Taupe
* under eye: Teddy with Antiqued smudged
Cheek:
* bronzer: Scone
* blush: Warm Soul
* highlighter: Soft and Gentle MSF
Lips:
* NYX Sand Beige Liner (only lightly lined)
* Tom Ford Something Wild mixed with MAC Smoked Almond Liptensity ( I have also used Lip Blossom or Patisserie – Something Wild was too vibrant for this look and Smoked Almond was too muted. I don’t have the perfect color for this look so I have to mix).
I’m very pleased with this and the progress I’m making on how to pick out coordinating products. I have been using the color wheel lately and remembered the advice of commenters on here – woo hoo!
Most used product of the week: All of my staples plus all the products mentioned above!
Any new beauty discoveries: Holding a mirror and applying eye makeup. I’m late to the party on this. I have always just leaned forward or just stood in front of a mirror. It really does help with placement and technique.
Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones, MAC NW 5-10
Favorite look: I dug out my Suparpill Fancy Feline palette from last year and used it this week. I used all four shades on my eyes and face putting WINK on the brow bone and as inner corner highlight. I used text me as bronzer and transition color. I used KISS KISS in the outer V and as blush. I also used SWAK as blush on the apples of my cheeks. For my lips I used MAC lip liner in More To Love and added L’Oréal Colour Riche Shine in Coral . I really liked how the look came out and enjoyed using my Suparpill palette after almost a year of rest!
Most used product of the week: It has to be the L’Oréal Shine lipsticks. I don’t think I have used any other lip product this week although I have combined other lip products with the Shine lipsticks. My favorite shade is Map To Nirvana.
New beauty discoveries: Olay ProX Even Skin Tone Spot Fading Cream. I am enjoying this product as I have pretty dark hyperpigmentation on my cheekbones and this product seems to be lightening them or somehow deflecting the look of them. Probably too soon to say if it is actually lightening them but after applying they don’t seem to be as noticeable.
My skin tone: Medium Neutral/Warm (Estee Lauder Doublewear in Ivory Beige and Born This Way in Natural Beige are the two best matches for my skin at this time)
Favorite look: A brown smokey eye with the Kat Von D Saint & Sinner palette: Revelation on inner and outer lid (halo style), Heaven on center of lid, Crucifix to deepen the outer V, Martyr for transition, and Amen on brow bone. I wore this with Tom Ford’s Seadragon, a shade I have not pulled out since I first began to play with it and was horrified with the results. My skin was quite warm at the time, and now that I am at my lightest and most neutral, this color is at least wearable. I wouldn’t say I love it, but I can tolerate it.
Most used product of the week: I am making a concentrated effort to finish my Amorepacific Future Response Cream. I bought this after receiving and using about 6 samples, and discovering this cream was the “secret” to unlock the full potential of my NARS All Day Luminous Weightless foundation. I put this on first and then would press the smallest amount of the NARS foundation into the skin, and the result was beautiful. I have thought about repurchasing but I don’t need this much hydration and the cream itself doesn’t offer enough antiaging bang for the buck. I have one more use and then I will have completed the jar.
Beauty discoveries: Foundation, does indeed, need to be replaced. After a long hiatus, I started using my Born This Way foundation a couple weeks ago and it wore horribly. I was confused because it used to be one of my favorite foundations. I went into Ulta today to test out the foundation in the store, and it looked just as lovely as I remembered it. My bottle is probably 2-3 years old (I know, cringe). I so much want to replace the bottle, but I’m also itching to try a new foundation. Never mind that I have three excellent foundations already in rotation: Luminous Silk, Teint Idole Ultra, and Doublewear. This is why I never finish a foundation, lol.

That’s a really beautiful look you’ve got going there Tammy. I really love the eyeshadow shades you’ve used.
Thank you Genevieve?
My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite look you worn: Today I have used my Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions palette, with the chocolate brown, very lightly, in the crease; the taupe shade on the lid and the gold in the corners. Paired it with EA’s Cocoa Bronze. The other day I used my Vice 2 palette, with Voodoo on the lid and Derailed in the crease and paired it with Art Deco’s Indian Summer – a berry shade.
Most used product of the week: Sunscreen and I think I have reached the end of the Elf Flawless foundation in Porcelain, of which I am going to repurchase.
Any new beauty discoveries: How versatile Naked 2 is with both warm and cool shades.
Skintone / coloring : light, MAC NC 20, med brown hair and eyes
Favorite look worn : MAC Uninterrupted in crease/transitions. Too Faced Sweet Peach Puree in crease. Candied Peach on outer half of eyelid. Nectar on inner half of eyelid.
MUFE Aqua Eyes XL Black Eyeliner to tightline
It Cosmetics Superhero mascara.
MAC Pro Longwear Blush in Stay By Me
Chanel Bronzer Soleil Tan
Becca Moonstone highlighter
Most used product : Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless. Clinique Even Better Foundation. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Neutralizer Concealer. KVD Lock It Translucent Setting Powder. MAC Pro Longwear Blush in Stay By Me. It Super Hero Mascara. MUFE Aqua Eyes XL Black Eyeliner. Chapstick Original lip balm
New Beauty Discoveries : I’m not impressed with It Cosmetics CC Cream or their Super Hero mascara. Just wah wah for me!
My skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite look you wore: EYES — UD Primer Potion in Enigma. ABH Roselle (crease, swept around onto the lower lid), ABH Love Letter (over Roselle on outer corner of crease and bottom lid; alone to fill in brows), Notoriously Morbid semi-loose e/s in Bullet (lid), ABH Moonchild HL in Pink Heart (browbone and inner corner). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (top & lower waterlines). UD Troublemaker Mascara. CHEEKS — MAC Pink Cult, ABH Pink Heart. LIPS — ABH Matte Lipstick in Dead Roses. FACE — Nyx Angel Veil Primer; Lancome Teint Idole 24H Long Wearing Foundation in 140(N) Ivoire mixed with a little Manic Panic Dreamtone in White/Virgin. E.l.f. HD Powder in Sheer. Sephora Tranquil (contour). E.l.f. Original Mist & Set.
Most used product of the week: Besides my dailies, Lancome Teint Idole 24H Long Wearing Foundation, as that huge cystic acne attack on the right side of my face is still healing up. ABH Matte Lipstick in Dead Roses.
Any new beauty discoveries: I’m loving my manicure in NexGen Nails Supernova (G6). The nail powder has an ultra violet base with purple and hot pink microglitter. It’s really gorgeous!
My skin tone/coloring: fair/warm
Favorite look you worn: Lorac LA Experience Venice Beach Palette (orange on lid, olive in crease, champagne in inner corner, grape on lower lashline), elf Cream Eyeliner in Black, Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara, Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush in Pearlescent Pink, Laura Geller Baked Highlighter in French Vanilla, and all of my daily boring stuff.
Most used product of the week: besides my daily items… elf Studio Blush in Tickled Pink
Any new beauty discoveries: I picked up the Ulta freebie Laura Geller highlighter and it’s really pretty! It’s different than the other highlighters I have.
