Urban Decay Revolver 24/7 Razor Sharp Liquid Eyeliner ($22.0000 for 0.07 fl. oz.) is a dark gray with silver and teal shimmer. It had semi-sheer color payoff in one pass (and I did shake it up for about 20 seconds), and it didn't improve even after opening/closing the product over the course of a week to see if it would dry out any. The texture was thinner, somewhat runny and watery, and it was harder to control. Once on, the liner locked on for ten hours without issue. Chanel Nero Vulcanico (939) (P, $34.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). MAC Little Black Bow (DC, $16.00) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Urban Decay Moonspoon (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). Urban Decay Oil Slick (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker (85% similar). Sephora Starry Sky (DC, $10.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (85% similar). Urban Decay Uzi (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker (85% similar). Tarte Charcoal (LE, ) is less shimmery, darker (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

Liquid Liner was one of our original color products, and we’re always reinventing and improving it. Since we can never get enough color, we also wanted to expand our range with more dimensional shades and multiple finishes. The name comes from one of our photographers, who used to look in the lens and whisper, “Ooh, that’s razor sharp.” We thought the delivery was funny, but it also sounded like a good name for liquid liner. The precision brush really lives up to the moniker—it’s practically impossible to mess up. Still perfecting your technique? After giving the bottle a good shake, lean your elbow on a stable surface to keep your hand steady while you apply. Then, just draw down into your lashes so the upper part of the line is sharp and even.
