I’m not sure that I got any that were “new” for 2015 but my favourites, my go-to’s, continue to be the Sephora liners (the contour ones and the twist up ones) as well as GOSH Metallic Brass pencil liner. At my daughter’s insistence, I started using the Stila stay all day liner (something like that, anyway) – it’s the “felt tip” one – and to my surprise and delight, I really like it. Oh, Annabelle self sharpening pencil liner – that was “new to me” this year and I’m surprised by how good it is.
When I pull the top 10, I do new to me – anything I reviewed in 2015 is game! Plus, it’s just as nice to get confirmation that old favorites are still favorites, even after a year has passed. It’s proof they stand the test of time!
I think I need to get On Wednesdays and Sly Like a Fox instead of the Colourpop ones that aren’t eye safe!
They are really easy to apply, too — and a great formula 😀

Those new Sephora Contour Matte Gel Eyeliners are the bomb! They last an insanely long time on my oily lids, from 7 AM til bedtime at 12 PM (17 hrs), and if I accidentally fall asleep with it on, I can test for 24 hrs LOL I already have 5 of them, and they need to come out with more colors!
They are nice! I’m curious if they’ll expand the range in 2016.
Ho Ho is fantastic! I used it last week, and it applied like a dream! Gorgeous.
I definitely have MJ Peridot and Sephora Contour Matte in Sly As A Fox on my to-get list, too!

My favorites of what I bought in 2015: I got more into liquid eyeliners this year — Jordana Cat Eye Liners, BHCosmetics Glitter Liner in Synergy, e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner in Stardust, Hard Candy Shany Masquerade 12-color Eyeliner Gel Set. MAC Fluidline in Blue Peep. Hard Candy Walk the Line Liquid Eye Liner in Magenta Madness.

I know Stila Stingray wasn’t that exciting but I really liked it. Colourpop and Chanel were my other favorites!

The Stila Smudge Sticks are such an awesome formula, it’s a shame the packaging is finicky more often than not! 🙁
MAC Chromagraphic Pencils will always be my top pick for liner!
I haven’t had any issues with my Stilas yet — keeping fingers crossed!

Which CP liners are on your list?
I just recently started using a few from Urban Decay and really like them, and I also like Sephora’s. The textures are soft and workable at first but then they set and stay put.
I like UD’s a lot but find I prefer Sephora’s more often these days. UD has some good ones in the permanent line, but the more recent releases haven’t been as pigmented (well, not in a single stroke – fairly buildable still, though).
Good to know – both are new to me this year because I was getting tired ( and maybe bored? OMG the guilt of saying this!) of the MAC eyeliners I have. I like the extensive shade selection of both UD and Sephora. I feel a dupe hunt coming on! ?
My favorite eyeliner for 2015 would be Lancôme Artliner liquid mascara in Noir. I love the traditional cat-eye eyeliner look. The black is very deep in color and well as long lasting. I recently decided it was going to be my go-to liquid eye liner after wearing L’Oreal Lineur Intense Liquid Liner in Carbon Black for years. A change will always do you good.

Ugh, Sly Like a Fox is the best. Until it came out, I had no idea how much I needed a brick red eyeliner in my life.

I didn’t try a lot of new eyeliners this year until the very end. I use eyeliner mostly for tightlining, and was using the Inglot gel/cream in the pot, but when they started to get seriously dry/stiff, I tried the new IT Cosmetics Liner Love gel/cream in the pot, and they’ve been excellent for tightlining, too. More expensive, but, if I’m lucky, they won’t dry out as quickly. I also like NARS Eye Paint for tightlining. Otherwise I’ve been using mostly Urban Decay 24/7 and Sephora Collection contour pencils when I want to intensify my eyeshadow color at the lash line. I added a couple from KIKO — they seem pretty good.
Here’s hoping the IT formula has better jar longevity! I know Inglot sells Duraline, which is good for rejuvenating dried out products, though!
I should try the Duraline. Trouble is, I have to order it from Beautylish, and it was out of stock for a long time. Whereas I can walk to my local ULTA for IT products. When it got hard to line my eyes and I had a coupon, I finally just caved! Of course the Duraline could be fun for other things, too…
Happy to see you like Sephora liner. It’s my second favorite after UD pencils. Also like Laura Mercier. Prefer pencils to other forms of liner. Just easier for me for some reason.

My favorite actual eyeliner has been Estée Lauder’s Burgundy Suede (12). My other favorite products to use as eyeliners have been Maybelline’s Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk and Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick in Amethyst. I’ve been really curious about how Sly Like A Fox would work with my skin tone.
The shade of the EL eyeliners is so nice! I wish they performed a little better for me, though 🙁
