ColourPop Ho Ho Creme Gel Colour
ColourPop Ho Ho Creme Gel Colour ($6.00 for 0.11 oz.) is described as a “vibrant rich violet with purple glitter.” It’s a bright, violet purple with cool undertones and fine purple sparkle. It had semi-opaque pigmentation with a slightly dry texture, but it wasn’t so that that it dragged when applied. It also seemed to get better after the outer layer had been removed/mixed in. Applied, the color lasted for ten hours with minimal sparkle travel/fall out. Zoeva New Jewels (P, $7.50) is more shimmery (95% similar). Urban Decay Psychedelic Sister (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter (95% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty (Grape)vine (P, $25.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). Sephora Eccentric Diva (DC, $10.00) is lighter (90% similar). Make Up For Ever I90 Iridescent Pop Purple (P, $21.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty (Plum)age (60) (P, $26.00) is warmer (90% similar). Zoeva Regency (P, $7.50) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Urban Decay Viper (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). Buxom Door's Unlocked (P, $17.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Urban Decay Voodoo (PiP, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). KVD Beauty Homie (PiP, $10.00) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Smashbox Nymph (P, $18.00) is darker, more muted (85% similar). MAC Designer Purple (P, $15.00) is more shimmery, warmer (85% similar). Urban Decay Empire (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker (85% similar). Milani Perfect Purple (P, $6.99) is more shimmery, warmer (85% similar). NARS St. Marks Place (P, $24.00) is less shimmery, cooler (85% similar). MAC Evil Twin (LE, $16.00) is lighter, cooler (85% similar). ColourPop Superstition Creme Gel Colour ($6.00 for 0.11 oz.) is described as a “deep smoky khaki with pink and violet glitter.” It’s a dark, taupe-brown with warm undertones and pink and plum glitter. It had good pigmentation with a creamy, smooth texture (except for the noticeable glitter) that glided on and was easy to maneuver on the skin. The eyeliner was still going strong after ten hours of wear, but this one had a little more glitter fall out over time. Urban Decay Ether (DC, $22.00) is lighter (90% similar). Sephora Flirting Game (DC, $10.00) is less shimmery, warmer (85% similar). Urban Decay Corrupt (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, brighter (85% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
ColourPop Sweet Tooth Creme Gel Colour ($6.00 for 0.11 oz.) is described as a “warm golden bronze with glitter.” It’s a sparkling, golden brozne with warm undertones and a ton of gold glitter. It had good color payoff in a single stroke, but there is a ton of glitter, so it can easy to over-apply it, especially as it is quite creamy. It wears without fading or thinning for ten hours, but I noticed some glitter travel underneath the liner–less than the average glitter-bomb of an eyeliner but not foolproof! Fenty Beauty Puppy Eyez (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Sephora Cookie Crunch (DC, $10.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). NARS Mulholland Drive (P, $24.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). MAC Deliciously Rich (P, $16.00) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar). ColourPop Show Me (P, $5.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). Urban Decay Smog (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). MAC Bountiful Brown (P, $16.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). ColourPop Rum (LE, $7.00) is less shimmery, cooler (85% similar). Make Up For Ever D62 Diamond Brown (P, $21.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (85% similar). Urban Decay Punk Rock (P, $21.00) is lighter, cooler (80% similar). Urban Decay Bourbon (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

I had to grab Superstition..it so looks like my kinda lower lashline thing.. wish it was in a pencil though. I also grabbed the purple because that type of bright purple is super good for bringing out the green in my eyes. They got me again.. (¬‿¬)
I’d LOVE it as a pencil because I tend to gravitate towards pencils myself!
Superstition and Sweet Tooth are so pretty! I kind of wish they were eyeshadows, haha.
So Quiche is a lighter version of Superstition (it’s an eyeshadow).
I ordered Superstition and Sweet Tooth. I thought Superstition was pretty unique. I almost got Ho Ho, but realized it wasn’t dark enough for me. I really love almost all the products in this collection. Have a good day!
Superstition is really cool–the way the shimmer and base play together makes it stand out a lot.
All are pretty! I have enough purple and dark brown eye liners for now, but Sweet Tooth looks interesting, looks like it could add some sparkle to my brown eyes. I have TF Glitter Glue, so can probably control any fallout. I was thinking of wearing it as an eyeliner to give neutral shadows some oomph, but worried it’s going to look OTT for day time. Can it be swiped on lightly to give a gold sparkle without looking cray?
I definitely think you can wear it without it being totally OTT as an eyeliner, especially if you use a thin brush!
Sweet Tooth is a gorgeous shade! Actually, I bet these three look amazing together.
It is a pretty one!
Ho. Ly. Crap.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to buy a MAC gel liner – ever – after this. ‘Ho Ho’ – that purple! It gives me LIFE! Do they have a deep, emerald, green liner, like this, with similar glitter? If so, DO WANT!
Yayyy! I don’t think they have true emerald yet, but hopefully soon!
All three are just gorgeous! I still love Ho Ho simply due to the fact that even getting a purple eyeliner that is this pigmented is nearly impossible!
Superstition reminds me of a darker version of their So Quiche eyeshadow, but in a gel-liner. Very cool! Sweet Tooth is an absolute stunner, although the fallout, if incoming, could prove to be painful!
Very true!
Superstition has so much depth.
I love Ho Ho. Such a gorgeous colour, and it seem like a good liner.
It is pretty on!
These are stunning. That purple!
I love how it is a cooler-toned purple!
Even though I probably wouldn’t use Superstition on myself, I love how complex it is!
It is very cool!
I like these. I also bought the Fauncy set. I really wish they would work as a base for shadow. I can’t wait to see how the pencils d on the waterline. My days of expensive eyeliners may be done. On that note, did you see Ardency Inn is on HauteLook!
It would have been great if they worked as bases!
I did!!
I am not really a fan of gel creams, as I think they can easily dry up – but these colours are gorgeous, especially Sweet Tooth.
It definitely depends on the formula, but if you have Inglot Duraline, it’s good to have on hand to revive ’em!
I wish I’d known Ho Ho was coming, I bought a different (pricier) purple eyeliner for Sephora’s VIB sale and now regret it!
Oh no! 🙁
I like Ho Ho, but I’m blown away by Superstition — it makes me think of a deepened, more intense So Quiche.
You have a good eye, Alecto! It is definitely similar to So Quiche in the way the shimmer/base play together.
Do ya think Sweet Tooth would make a good base, or would the glitter make it hard to blend? I’m really lemming that one but the possibility of fallout has me on the fence!
These are really bad as bases, because they dry down REALLY fast and will flake off in chunks if you blend once they’ve set (which is nearly immediately, lol).
Oh, dang! I thought that was an issue only with the mattes. :/ Was hoping to order a couple of the metallic ones, too, and use them as cream shadows. Oh, well, I can still use them as shimmery accents on the inner corner of my inner lash line!
I have Ho Ho Ho, i like it a lot but I really didnt see much of the glitter when applied. I did last ALL day, no smudges or flaking.
I’m glad you didn’t have any flaking at least!
