Zoeva Graphic Eyes Eyeliners
Zoeva Graphic Eyes Eyeliner ($7.50 for 0.04 oz.) is supposed to be a smooth, pigmented, long-wearing, and waterproof eyeliner. Overall, I liked the formula; it had good wear-time, buildable pigmentation (typically semi-opaque in one stroke), and enough creaminess that there wasn’t any tugging during application. Their color range was a little more unique from the shades I bought, but they also had some more typical shades like black, brown, etc.
Female Attraction is a muted, medium-dark navy blue with subtle cool tones (it looks like “warmer” blue, even though it is still cool-toned) paired with a matte finish. It had good pigmentation in a single pass, and the texture was creamy enough to glide easily but not smudge all over the place. The color wore well for eight hours on me before thinning. Urban Decay Mainline (P, $22.00) is darker, brighter (90% similar). Melt Cosmetics Slate (LE, $19.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). KVD Beauty Nerdrum (P, $19.00) is lighter, brighter (85% similar). ColourPop DTLA (P, $7.00) is darker, cooler (85% similar). Charlotte Tilbury Super Blue (Matte) (PiP, ) is darker, cooler (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
New Jewels is a bright, violet purple with lavender and purple micro-glitter. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one stroke, while it was buildable to mostly opaque coverage. The texture was creamy enough for a comfortable, tug-free application. On me, the color wore well for nine hours, but there was some migration of sparkles over time. ColourPop Ho Ho (LE, $7.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). MAC Designer Purple (P, $15.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty (Grape)vine (P, $25.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). Smashbox Nymph (P, $18.00) is darker, more muted (90% similar). Milani Perfect Purple (P, $6.99) is warmer (85% similar). MAC Wakanda Proud (LE, $25.00) is less shimmery, warmer (85% similar). Urban Decay Psychedelic Sister (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (85% similar). LA Girl Sequins (P, $4.49) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (85% similar). Urban Decay Viper (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (85% similar). Urban Decay Voodoo (PiP, $22.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). KVD Beauty Homie (PiP, $10.00) is lighter (85% similar). Urban Decay Empire (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (80% similar). Urban Decay Vice (P, $22.00) is warmer (80% similar). Sephora Eccentric Diva (DC, $10.00) is lighter, brighter (80% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty (Plum)age (60) (P, $26.00) is more shimmery, lighter, warmer (80% similar). MAC Cobalt Kohl (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (80% similar). Melt Cosmetics Utterly Alone (LE, $19.00) is less shimmery, lighter, brighter (80% similar). Urban Decay Ransom (LE, $22.00) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Nude Reflection is a medium, taupe brown with warm undertones and lighter taupe frosted shimmer. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one pass, and I was able to build it to mostly opaque coverage with two to three layers. It was lightly creamy with good glide and even coverage when applied to the lower lash line. This was my personal favorite of the five I bought to try, but I live in a world that I feel is lacking in taupe eyeliner! The color wore well for eight and a half hours. Marc Jacobs Beauty Pewter Please (110) (LE, $26.00) is more shimmery, darker (95% similar). Urban Decay Mushroom (P, $22.00) is darker (90% similar). MAC Grey Tide (P, $17.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Urban Decay Underground (DC, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (90% similar). MAC It's Physical (DC, $16.00) is darker (90% similar). Chanel Perle de Lune (916) (LE, $34.00) is darker (90% similar). Urban Decay Pistol (DC, $22.00) is less shimmery, warmer (95% similar). Chanel Revelation (897) (LE, $34.00) is darker, cooler (85% similar). Urban Decay Hustle (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (80% similar). Fenty Beauty Moon Dunez (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, cooler (80% similar). Urban Decay Tiger's Eye (LE, $22.00) is more shimmery, lighter, cooler (80% similar). Opulence is a slightly muted, medium-dark copper red with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had good color payoff in a single stroke. The texture was creamy, which made it easy to apply. It wore well for nine hours on me before thinning. I couldn’t think of any dupes for this one! MAC Copper Field (LE, $16.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop Sistas (LE, $7.00) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). Urban Decay Fireball (P, $22.00) is more shimmery (95% similar). ColourPop Get Lucid (P, $7.00) is more shimmery (85% similar). Lethal Cosmetics Cue (P, $15.50) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (80% similar). Chanel Romance (955) (P, $34.00) is more shimmery, lighter (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Regency is a medium-dark, cool-ttoned violet purple with fine shimmer. It had sheer pigmentaiton in a single stroke, and it was much more emollient compared to the other shades–it had more slip. I was able to build-up the color to semi-opaque coverage with three layers of product, and it still wore well (eight hours), but it was the least pigmented of the five. MAC Wakanda Proud (LE, $25.00) is less shimmery, warmer (95% similar). Urban Decay Psychedelic Sister (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). KVD Beauty Homie (PiP, $10.00) is cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Viper (P, $22.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). ColourPop Ho Ho (LE, $7.00) is darker, cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Voodoo (PiP, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). KVD Beauty Roxy (P, $18.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). LA Girl Sequins (P, $4.49) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Make Up For Ever I90 Iridescent Pop Purple (P, $21.00) is warmer (85% similar). NARS St. Marks Place (P, $24.00) is darker, cooler (85% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty (Grape)vine (P, $25.00) is less shimmery, darker (85% similar). Urban Decay Vice (P, $22.00) is more shimmery, darker, warmer (80% similar). Urban Decay Ransom (LE, $22.00) is cooler (90% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

Where do you buy your Zoeva from? It seems difficult to get outside of Europe.
Hey Laura,
I bought directly from Zoeva! I just placed a really, really big order to make shipping fee count.
You can get it from BeautyBay.com so it’s shipped from the UK for free as long as the order comes to over £15.
I saw Zoeva on their website, but searching for Zoeva results yielded nothing, in any product category. Beautylish has some products like that, too, ones they don’t really carry, but for some reason, list.
Oh no. I didn’t realise they didn’t let US customers buy Zoeva ?, what a shame. I had a look and changed the settings to US and yep, Zoeva doesn’t appear. Sorry!
As a fellow lover of taupe eyeliner, I recommend Julep’s When Pencil Met Gel in Smoky Taupe Shimmer. It’s great for an everyday look!
Thanks for the suggestion!
Opulence is really lovely and unique. I like New Jewels, too. Regency is so disappointing. At least they got one purple right, though. Good prices, too.
Opulence is a fun one! It can be a little challenging to wear sometimes, since it is quite reddish!
I like reddish and pink eye colors; they really make the green in my eyes stand out. I can see where reddish eyeliner would be tricky for some people, though, and make their eyes look bloodshot or sick.
Opulence looks awesome with UD Fireball, too.
That does sound like a beautiful combo!
Unique shades! $7.50! These will be on my Zoeva list for after Holiday recovery!
Yayyy!
Wow, these colors are all so pretty, and some colors are hard to find. I especially like the teal and purples
They are! They did a good job curating the color range.
Oh dear. I call these a fail. So lumpy!
I really like these, actually! They’re very creamy.
Opulence might make an interesting lip color with a gloss over it?
It might! I think finding a similar lipstick might be easier, though, to apply!
You are too cute! Yes you are absolutely right!
Those are nice. Shame about Regency though 🙁 I think Mainline might be a bit more teal than Female Attraction too.
I think Mainline is more teal!
Opulence looks gorgeous and like it would be good under and pink/orangey/red eyeshadows that I like at the moment for my boring blue eyes!
It would!
Nude Reflection looks fantastic, and definitely different enough to make me feel like I need it!
As for the deep blue one, I think I still prefer the CP one, DTLA overall. Plus it’s easier to obtain!
Opulence is extremely interesting! Not so sure how wearable, but still might win a “yes” from me. Just that in order for me to order from Zoeva, one had better go big or go home, due to their international shipping charge!
Haha, I hear you! I placed one REALLY big order with them awhile ago (including these) to justify the cost.
I was going to purchase one of these but the shipping costs would have been $13.33 (to the US). Hopefully you will review more of their products so that we can make a larger purchase and spread the shipping cost over more items.
Yep, they are pricey unfortunately for us in the U.S. unless you make a big enough order 🙁
These look nice, I was also going to ask if anyone else is carrying this brand or directly. I think their shadows are supposed to be nice but speedy if I remember.
Just through Zoeva for U.S.! I believe there may be a couple of online retailers (BeautyBay comes to mind) that sell it, but I don’t think it is for U.S.
I really love Opulence! I scrolled back up to see dupes… none. **sniff** I suppose that’s one of the reasons I like it — it’s unique!
What lovely, universal colours and at such a great price. A winner. Love the blue the best.
I really love Female attraction, such a beautiful colour and I am happy to hear that it performs well 🙂 also btw have you tried their palettes yet? Cocoa Blend is my favourite one and it’s such great quality for the price plus the colours are gorgeous!
Nice! Will have to remember these next time I shop at Zoeva! You know I love me some colorful eye pencils… 🙂
Hi, Christine! Take a look at Kiko’s 403. It’s a close dupe for Opulence (a darker version). I really love this pencils. I’ve got Good Karma, a really creamy, shimmery dark green. A lot of retailers sell them online in Spain. Hope you can try the brand out soon in the US!
Ouch, I meant ‘these’. Sorry for that!
I have Opulence and New Jewels, and love them. Also a couple others (shade names escape me atm!). Female Attraction looks like a good dark blue for me – I find that blues which are too cool-toned end up emphasising dark eye circles on me.
