YSL Honey's Nude & Lale's Red Rouge Pur Couture Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Honey's Nude (125)
YSL Honey’s Nude (125) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark pinky-coral with warm undertones and a natural sheen that had very faint pearl. It had good pigmentation in a single layer–just slightly translucent overall–that applied evenly and smoothly over my lips without dragging.
The lipstick had a lightweight texture that was lightly creamy, smooth, and comfortable to apply and to wear, though I felt like it wasn’t as smoothing or as forgiving compared to other shades (just slightly). It stayed on well for four and a half hours and felt moisturizing while worn.

Formula Overview
$38.00/0.13 oz. - $292.31 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "rich color with intense hydration ... in just one stroke." The lipstick has moderate slip--some shades are fairly emollient and can feel slippery during wear, while many are creamy but adhere well enough.
I've found that more mid-tone and deeper shades have better applications with smoother, more forgiving color that was semi-opaque or higher in coverage. Some of the lighter and the very deepest shades were more prone to settling into lip lines or yielding more medium to semi-opaque coverage.
The wear ranged from four to six hours on average. I found the formula was usually on the hydrating side. There was a sweet, floral scent with a very subtle taste, though I felt like it sometimes gave me a taste and other times, I didn't notice anything.

LELimited Edition. $38.00.
Lale's Red (126)
YSL Lale’s Red (126) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a deeper red with neutral-to-warm undertones and barely-there pearl woven through a cream-like finish. It had rich color payoff that applied evenly across my lips without tugging or dragging.
The texture was lightweight, creamy without being too slippery, and smoothed out most of my lip lines. It stayed on beautifully for five hours and was hydrating over time.

Love how barely there pearl looks like HL on the l/s. That group is lovely. As to Honey’s, it’s remarkable how huge the territory for nude is these days.
Both are simply gorgeous looking! And I unfortunately (or not!) have very close dupes of both. Oh well, money saved is how I ought to look at it, eh??♀️
It’s nice to see a lipstick described as ‘nude’ that has actual color to it and might actually be flattering on my lips.
Again, both of these lipsticks are stunning. Lale’s Red is such a vibrant shade.
Love the texture of these!
Both are lovely, and I don’t have any dupes!? Wonder why. When I looked at the dupes for Lale’s Red I saw that I had a lot of them on my wish list. Maybe I should just pick one pf the less expensive.
Oh my… both of them look so good! I need to swatch them in store for sure.
