UOMA Beauty Bahia Black Magic Metallic Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.12 oz.) has a medium-dark, plummy red base with warmer undertones and green-gold shimmer and glitter throughout that had both a shiny, metallic finish along with plenty of sparkles. It had semi-opaque color coverage, though it appeared a bit more opaque to my eye in person due to the amount of sparkle in it.
The consistency looked rather textured, especially along the sides of the lipstick itself, but the slanted tip was much smoother than anticipated. If you loathe any texture at all, then it would likely be noticeable to you. I found it to be fairly smooth, certainly comfortable enough to work with that it wasn’t painful or scratchy to apply directly from the tube. It went on fairly evenly and stayed on nicely for five and a half hours. The formula felt lightly moisturizing while worn.

The formula is supposed to have "explosive color and rave worthy shine" that is "comfortable and plush on the lips." The pigmentation was semi-opaque to opaque, depending on shade, and most applied evenly. A few shades could have been more even, especially on the inner portion of my lips, but they were often sparkly enough that it was less noticeable in person than it could have been.
The texture varied from finer and smoother to slightly more textured (not sharp or painful to use, but a few shades were chocked full of larger glitter) but comfortable enough to apply and to wear. If one was particularly sensitive to the feel of sparkle/glitter, it might not be the best formula to reach for. They wore from four to six hours and felt lightly hydrating over time. I didn't have issues with noticeable glitter migration or travel. They had a sweet, creme brulee scent but no discernible taste.

UOMA Beauty Trinidad Black Magic Metallic Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a vivid, medium-dark fuchsia with strong, cool undertones and flecks of gold and lighter fuchsia glitter and shimmer throughout. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips with minimal texture (it looked more textured in the tube than it actually was on the slanted tip).
The texture was lightly creamy, dense without being firm, and still lighter-weight, which made it comfortable to wear. There was a smidgen of product that sank into my deeper lip lines but not enough to be noticeable in person. It wore well for over six hours, left a stain behind, and was lightly hydrating over time.

Trinidad is absolutely beautiful!! But I’m one of those people who dislikes even the slightest inkling of grittiness, so this is a pass for me.
It looks as if the glitter is applied to the outside, rather like jimmies/sprinkles on an ice cream come. The tip has barely any at all. Good call, Uoma.

These UOMA lipsticks look stunning. I really wish I’d knew about them during the holiday months, would’ve been perfect for a holiday party!
I’m pretty sure they’re new but I’ve got a couple of their more “regular” looking colors and they’re fantastic. The whole brand is, actually. I’m so glad to see it getting some space in the beauty industry.

I so LOVE metallic lipsticks and the Bahia one is gorgeous – I think I have commented on it a few times when I have seen you wearing it Christine with other products. I hope there are other shades in the range – like a bronze/copper.
I love these in over all color, light to medium opacity and especially the sparkles.
I do have 2 large drawers of lippies and a SORBO display rack full of my favorites on the top of the unit. If I take the plunge, I must do a serious deep purge first.
I love both of the lipsticks. Unfortunately it seems these colours aren’t available at Selfridges. Maybe they will become available at a later date, until then I am very envious of all who can shop from ULTA.

Wow, wow, and wow!!!! Trinidad is ….no words. And Bahia is soooo wearable! I was surprised as in the tube I thought it would be much darker on. Definitely, will have to find this brand when this confinement is over.
